It'll suck when a grown man like Tristan Da Silva wins. Unless you're a Magic fan

Wizards got a potential core in 24Draft. Spurs possible choose franchise cornerstone in Castle and Edey, Clingan giving another boost for C position. So far only real disappointment by me is Jalen Dub Williams brother for Jazz
Edey was drafted by Memphis.
I commented that SAS got a gem in Castle and that Edey and Clingan continuing to making C position back in biggest fashion

keep an eye on dillon jones in okc. not because he's a good player, he stinks, but because the thunder traded five 2nd's to move up to the first round to take him and it's funny to see how bad he is.

I think Edey and Wemby would've been an interesting combo, even if they didn't always play at the same time.

I think Wells will be a top 5 guy in this draft. Dude is a Klay Thompson clone.

Last three starts for McCain:
30.6 MPG
22.7/2.3/2.0 on 45/41/100
Just a smart ballplayer.

Too soon to tell, people were saying the same thing about Jaquez this time last year. Looks good so far, though.

I could see Bub for 40 a couple times this season.
Possible but I still would be surprised

It may be a bit soon but his poise and IQ are really standing out. He understands spacing and positioning most NBA players still don’t comprehend. His ability to be an off ball star is something to look at. Also he has guarded the toughest matchups since starting and doing a phenomenal job. All in all he not doing anything spectacular which has me so optimistic everything he is doing can be duplicated over and over.

Yeah, he looks like phenomenal value so far, but to say he's going to be top 5 in this class you still need to know what the rest of the guys will look like, and some of the higher picks are 2 years younger than him and there's a wide range of possibilities for Sarr, Castle, Sheppard, Bub Carrrington, etc. So I'd hold judgement on that until we know more, this class may drastically change in the next few years (for better or worse).

Fair point, but Wells right now is the best two way player and that’s me also considering Dunn.

Great game from the kid on a B2B while the Cavs stuck their defensive wing stopper, Okoro, on him for the bulk of the game after he came out hot to start the first.

Re: 2024-25 NBA Rookie Discussion Thread
McCain looks like the one bright spot in Philly's dark season and a consolation to Sixers fans who are doing it tough.
Probably wouldn't be getting so many minutes because of their injuries, but it's good to see a Rookie seize his moment
Many draft experts like Bill Simmons were shocked to see him slide to Philly's pick.
Credit for Morey for another inspired pick (like Maxey)
Please don't jinx him Hussein

Clingan having his first real signature game tonight.
His passing especially is way better than I could have hoped for as a rookie.

He's not a maestro/rocket scientist, but prefer his style to Wemby's.
