Completely random, but betting scandal aside, the vibes and the games this week have been awesome and Lebron isn't even playing. I think folks, especially like myself who have gone through post-Jordan NBA, post-Kobe NBA were probably wondering how it was going to be when Lebron hangs it up and honestly, you forget he's not even playing at the moment.

I’ve noticed that teams investing heavily in wings are struggling, while those built around strong guards are thriving. The game always moves in cycles.

Yeah, and we’re already seeing a lot of three guard lineups. I think four-guard units will eventually become more common, especially since many of these guards are 6’4”–6’5” and play bigger thanks to their wingspan, width(strong base) and/or athleticism.

Kind of lost in the Wemby lovefest and Castle/Harper development, Keldon Johnson has had a phenomenal start to the season.

Playing 24 minutes a night:

11.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 62fg%, 54% from 3, 82% from FT. Barely turning over the ball and he looks like he's in fantastic shape.

That'll settle down soon enough, but it's nice to see a little hot streak, for sure.
