There is a difference between bad and embarrassingly bad and historically bad. You can "ehh they collapsed in the end missed the playoffs by a game" and " I think they tanked!"

At some point the Heat will quit and go to top 3 lottery. Which team won the 'ship and after two-three years goes to top 3 lottery with the superstar player still there? Take note this Heat is on pace to be the worst Heat team in history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Heat). That is not def. a good label for a player with a supposed transcendent game like Wade.

I'm suprised no one else further emphasized this as well. The Heat went from defending champs to first round sweep to worst season in Heat history, but ofcourse teflon coated Wade will escape any kind of criticism.

calm down, you sound really mad like you hate a guy you dont even know..

I assume youre a Magic fan, he went 16-20 vs. your team for 48 points and still lost ...

42/7/6 tonight ...32 of 38 Heat points in the 2nd half today and still lost..his teammates went 3/21 in the 2nd half.

Guy has no help like Tmac in Orlando..

^If Wade was a really good player he would set up his teammates exactly in the right places on the court so they would have gone at least 12/21 from the field. He is simply not a team player.

For people boasting about Wade's supporting cast. Do yall watch basketball?

Wade once again had like 34 of Miami's 38 total 2nd half points.

WHAT THE HELL IS HE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS LOAD OF GARBAGE?

& don't say he didn't set anything up -- I saw Mark Blount alone mishandle about 5 beautiful passes.

This is terrible, wade is the last person who should be blamed for the heat's situation. He is a 25/4r/7a!! guy and his numbers are increasing because of his slow start and his amazing numbers his putting up lately. Look at his assists, its not like he is a ball hog and from the post by CB4MiamiHeat shows that he is asserting himself in the 4th quarter and the others can't hit the back side of a barn. (d whistle also makes a same point)

The only criticism that anyone could bring up is his turnover problems and his is working on that problem. The dude is flat out putting his heart and soul into the games and its still not working. Give him a break, remember what happened over the offseason? He had surgery on his shoulder that he dislocated so bad that they couldn't put it back properly. And look what he is doing now.

The reasons why the heat suck this season:

Zo: huge part of the heat suffered a season ending injury (career too maybe?)

Random injuries: for a few weeks we had a lineup that wouldn't even win a game in the NBL...

The sheer lack of talent in the heat lineup: Jason Williams, Mark Blount, Chris Quin, Luke Turdchucker, Davis, Earl Barron all getting major minutes. Cook, even though he is so raw he has seen huge minutes too.

Poor coaching and terrible moves by Pat Reily: He takes players out when they just start to heat up and it ruins the momentum, he makes plays for Haslem to take final shots. He let Posey and Kapono leave and has failed to get shooters which we need so much. He has made great moves in the season before but I'm only talking about this season. (although there where other reasons why pat couldn't resign them but he could have tried harder they left which leads into the second point)...

Tight arsed owner: He doesn't want to pay more money due to the luxury tax so we can have some decent players.

Over-payed players: Jwill, Blount and Shaq. This prevents us even trying to get some good FA's and we don't even a decent amount of production out of these players.

Strengthening of the east: Jeez just look at the improvement of the east in Boston, Magic, Pistons, Raptors and the Wizards.

But most of all:

Shaq: The guy needs to harden up and try. He has no heart, doesn't box out, doesn't even try to rebound if its out of his arm length. But most of all he is taking up 20millon which we need for cap space. He can't even get of his arse and play because of his "aching hips".

I know that basketball is a team sport and a team wins as a team and a team loses as a team but come on, look at what wade is playing with.

:banghead:

Him scoring that many points instead of passing the ball to his teammates is evidence that he is a huge ball hog. If only he would stop being so selfish and try to involve his teammates who are more than capable of scoring the ball.

Yea hes being sarcastic...

and in defense to Shaq..hes probably the main reason why we suck (contract in comparison to production) BUT hes diving all over the floor and playing hurt.

Hes trying out there, hes just old and banged up. The guy couldve easily shut it down for the season.

This happens everytime he comes back from extended time off, he will play well for a few games then just go back to sucking.

Youre in denial. Don't use funny expressions just because you can't find any flaws in my arguments.

nice aside from an otherwise tedious thread.
