I'm satisfied, though. People were ganging up on me as if I'm the only one, or one of the few, who thought that was a travel. Clearly, I'm in the MAJORITY. I was saying that all along, but no one believed me. Oh well...

if you read through this thread again, you will clearly see that you're in the MINORITY

people were ganging up on you because you clearly don't know the rules. and if you go and play playground ball and they call it a travel? shove them a clip of kobe bryant in their face. keep the clip on your phone and whip it out whenever you need to. man up IRL, not on the internet

all those clips show that the ball has left his hands before the third step was finished (ie. landed)

doesn't even concern the step-through, its a spin-move that was a blatant travel. it wasn't called.

Forget this thread. Did you not read what I just said before. PHIL JACKSON, KOBE BRYANT, AND THE ENTIRE LAKERS "DON'T KNOW THE RULES". There's a reason you rarely ever see a blatant use of that move like Melo did. Everyone thinks that it's a travel!!! That's why. Just like the Lakers. And no, if you try that move on a playground, people will call travel. It happened to me. They all think that it's a travel.

I've never seen a person embarrass themselves so badly, then admit to being wrong, then come back two months later and embarrass themselves again.

lol, Kobe thinks he's fouled on every play and thinks that he never fouls anybody. Just because a team whines about a call doesn't mean they're right. You don't think the Lakers are biased at all? The play wasn't a travel.

Most people think it's a travel. That's all I'm saying. And it's true. Phil Jackson was right there and saw the play happen. He immediately got out of his seat and stood up to yell at the referee, calling for a travel. He was that passionate about it. So did the entire team. They all think that it's a travel. You think they're the only ones? No, Phil Jackson managed to somehow coach 9 championship teams while being completely wrong about the rules, while EVERYONE ELSE knows these rules. Lol...

Dude. Teams complain CONSTANTLY. Every single game. Without fail. That means nothing. They're as biased as anybody can possibly be.

Just because a team whines about a call doesn't mean they're right. You don't think the Lakers are biased at all? The play wasn't a travel.

I haven't mentioned once now whether or not they were right. I just made the observation.

But I'm fairly certain that the immediate reaction of 90% of the people who saw that play was that he traveled...

Well, what are we going to base this on? How people react or what's laid out in the rulebook? What's more important when determing if it's a travel or not?

You have you, the Lakers team, and Van Gundy. I'm not sure how that=most people. And if he watched it again I'm sure he would say that it wasn't a travel. Same with any Laker. If not, they're idiots.

Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant, and the rest of the Lakers are the last people I'd ask whether it was a travel. Like I said earlier, Kobe thinks he's fouled on pretty much every play. Is that because he wants the call, or because he doesn't know the rules?

I find it extremely hard to believe that Phil Jackson got up out of his seat to complain about a call that he wants but doesn't agree with...
