Wow

I hate random stats out of context.

It doesn't factor in things like opponent's pressure, time pressure, game pressure, confidence, fatigue etc.

I mean there's a 1 in 11.5 million chance of getting attacked by a shark but if you live in the middle of the country and never go close to the coast and stay away from aquariums your whole life there's a 0% chance you'll be attacked. If you are a professional surfer like Mick Fanning your chances of being attacked by a shark increases significantly.

These kind of stats are meaningless to me.

Crazy stat:

Only KD made a FT for GSW. He shot 7-10. Looney and Klay combined for 0-4.

Warriors got another title. Congrats to them.

Cavs don’t have enough talent to compete imo

You're at the 2nd stages of grief. But know this, the refs don't make you miss 27 consecutive threes.

If the internet existed back in the 80’s, you’d probably hear how people are so sick of seeing Lakers-Celtics in the finals :D

I agree that KD closed this game and without him they lose....and I think these playoffs showed that he's better than Curry.

But I wouldn't take him over Harden or Kawh.

CP has a champion mentality? Lol. Why? Because he’s small and feisty? Dude gets so much praise for accomplishing so little.

I agree...Looked really bad this series...Just the way he carries himself...Whole season done....FU Paul

So happy to see GS advance. We played with a ton of heart and came back from some huge deficits this series.

For all those that say if CP3 was healthy Houston wins, its quite possible if Iggy was healthy, this might not have gone 7 games.

rockets exceeded all expectations this season and were basically done in the waning moments of game 5 when cp3 went down. no shame in that.

Sad thing is they dint even need to get it together to win easily

They didn't win that easily. Had Houston hit even 4 of 30 instead of 1 of 30 of those threes, they probably would have won this game going away.

I meant GSW will win in the Finals against Cleveland easily, even if they dont get it together

Yes.

But Houston had clean looks too and you can't blame that on the refs.

HOW IS THIS NOT A FOUL?!?

Because Green didn’t foul him and Bell was an established defender who used the principle of verticality to avoid a foul from a smaller player who jumped from within the lane toward said established and taller defender?

What are you watching??? Green hacked him across the arm and Bell clearly is jumping towards Gordon while fading out to the baseline in-air. He clearly is going straight up and down.

Great season, Rockets. You are a championship-level team, even if it can't be officialized this year; you just had the misfortune of playing against the most stacked team of the modern era, compounded by CP3's infelicitous injury.

Props to Curry and Durant for spearheading the second-half comeback; by doing so, they've staved off what would have been an irrecoverable blow to their legacies. Their confidence crescendoed when it mattered the most, and they made me retract all words I made to the contrary earlier.

Still not looking forward to Warriors-Cavaliers Part IV, but I've already steeled myself for it for some time by knowing that the basketball gods would be disgracious as usual.

Congratulations in advance to the champions-to-be Warriors, FWIW.

great word
