D-12 needs to get over the Superman nickname and the Magic to LA Shaq connections.

So weird that D-12 tried to be Shaq and now he changed his mind and doesn't want to be called a Shaq copy. Come to LA and make your name. Retire a Laker w/ 4 rings and LA will rank you above Shaq. It is so easy to see that Kobe will pass you the torch to the best organization in pro sorts. Perfect oppertunity for D-12. He is just in a BK state of mind. But he was too immature to let his contract run out and just sign w/ them outright.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Dwight's signing with LA can be viewed as following the Lakers tradition of having a hall-of-fame big, not following Shaq's footstep. The team will also be his after Kobe's contract. Dwight is in his prime, and if he does not win soon, he may have to chase a ring at 40 as a backup.

A move to the Western Conference makes so much sense for Dwight. Avoids LeBron in ECF's year in and year out.

Also if the Lakers don't get Dwight here I'm confident they'll go into rebuild mode and when the 2014 free agent class comes around the Lakers will put together a team that's going to crush!

CP3 + LeBron + DMC There's all sorts of crazy possibilities!
Sometimes being wrong is awesome!!! :D

Pingalore was informed by multiple sources on Tuesday that the San Antonio Spurs number one assistant Mike Budenholzer is the number one Magic head coaching candidate.

The other front runner for the Magic is Oklahoma City assistant coach Maurice "Mo" Cheeks.

Probably means a rehash of the info today that we already know with the "breaking" tag as a weak attempt to get people to tune in.

Lakers fans need to stop being so butt hurt that Dwight doesn't want to come there. He didn't want t come to LA so badly he opted into another year with Orlando. Thats how badly he doesn't want to go there.

Its hard for you to accept that Dwight doesn't want to come to the "best franchise" in sports but he doesn't.

Nets fans need to accept that they have no assets and the Magic would let Dwight walk before they trade the best big man in the game for Brook Lopez

The storied history of the Lakers is EXACTLY why he doesn't want to go there. Guy doesn't want to follow in the huge footsteps of George Mikan, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Shaquille O'Neal. Some people thrive in that pressure, others--like him--shy away from it.

Dwight is a walking contradiction, demands limelight, shies away from pressure...

If thats true then why did the Magic talk with us. Theres no way they would rather let Dwight walk. They will take our offer if no better offer is available.

Oh please.

He doesn't want to come to the Lakers because Kobe will not let him be the man in LA. He doesn't want to play second fiddle to Kobe. And Kobe is incapable of taking a step back.

i am beginning to believe they havent seen a trade that blows them away, so they are going to force Dwight to walk away from $35mil guaranteed. Im not saying I agree with it, but i think that is the path they are headed.
