If he wants to be all butt hurt and passive aggressive about it he should just pull a Kevin Love. Sign a 4 year deal with a player option in the last year and start pouting about not getting the 5th year right away. Hunt his own stats when he plays to pump up his value and force his way out in year three with the threat of opting out in year four. The Wolves got one year from the 4 year deal Love signed after he lost a whole season to a broken hand, but at least they got Wiggins out of the deal.

Bledsoe should just do what Greg Monroe did and go into UFA. If he stays healthy for the whole season someone will give him a max.

A max contract, 7.5% raises for 5 years type contract? I highly highly doubt a team offers Bledsoe that kind of contract, especially with his bad knees.

He's not eligible to be offered that by any team except the one holding his bird rights, i.e., the Suns.

No other team is allowed to offer him 5 yrs or 7.5% raises. The most any other team can offer him is 4yrs and 4.5% raises.
