Why would I be bitter? Kid is a stud and I hope he balls hard for the Knicks because it's good for the league and I appreciate one of a kind players.

Honestly you are the ones who need to get over your issue with other people thinking this. If I have to put up with all the valid criticisms and past stuff about my Pelicans and fan base that comes up all the time you should too.

Of course you are right, the Knicks fans who booed him should be embarrassed. It's just - how long do you want them to be embarrassed? 5 years? KP's whole career? I think most fans realized they were wrong about him a month or two into last season so being embarrassed about it now makes no sense.

Well KP is becoming a star right now. So this would be the height of their embarrassment. We had a few people who though AD was too skinny and lacked the offensive skills to make it in the league. We piled on them and moved on after the 2nd year.

Point is... I shouldn't be harpooned for saying something true. If you don't like it ignore it, because there is no logical reason to call me out on it.

No, it wouldn't. The height of embarrassment was when people realized they were wrong. That happened a year ago.

Exactly. We are in the "moved on" phase (after bringing it up again and again last season) so what you're saying is not wrong, it's just old news.

That was not me, that was someone else.

KP had an off shooting night, along with foul trouble. He came away with:

16 Points, 8 Rebounds, 3 Blocks, 2 Assists, 1 Steal, 4-8 3PT :D

I came in here looking for comments about sophomores and stumbled into a Porzingis thread, evidently.

Id give KP the edge right now. Mainly because of defense, KAT seems to be struggling a lot defensively this year. KP with that crazy length is one scary prospect. I think both are franchise player just slightly giving the edge to KP at the moment.

That's what happens when each attempt to start an independent KP thread (say, to highlight an amazing dunk or defensive play) gets merged with this one.

Fortunately, you can read about many of the other 2-year and 3-year players in their independent threads.

Yeah, I'm not sure why Porzingis isn't allowed to have his own thread. Seems a bit biased. Even if you argue as a sophomore that his threads should go in here, doesn't make sense then why guys like Devin Booker or Joel Embiid have their own threads.

All right then I'm just gonna point out that Mudiay has a 3:1 assist:turnover ratio in the past 6 or 7 games. Malone called him out in a post-game interview and all the sudden he's a facilitator.

Shooting still sucks but he's getting to the FT line and hitting at 80.9% there.

If he can maintain that curbed turnover ratio that would be huge. Shooting sucks but he can work without it for now. When he is turning the ball over stupidly multiple times a game he is just a complete liability. Pointless to have a pg who can sometimes make a great drive but also make a boneheaded mistake just as often and never stretch the floor.

KAT with 47 and 18, 2 ast 3 blk
Porzingis with 29 and 8, with 4 ast and 2 blk

As someone who doesnt get to watch a whole lot of Towns, all I can say is christ, this guy is a freaking monster. The league is in good hands I'd say

That Porzingis and Towns matchup was the best big man match up I've seen since Yao and Shaq. Both were monsters offensively and defensively.

KP didn't block KAT on that attempt :)

The rim should get the block

KP was getting booed by Knicks fans booed as soon as some scouts and draft sites started comparing his game to Bargnani after Knick fans had been force fed 2 seasons worth of him Not being able to see these foreign players play much, NBA comparisons end up being everything. Meanwhile Okafor had just won an NCAA title so that pick would have brought the house down in excitement.

And really, in terms of body and style KP does compare to Bargnani. Except he does absolutely everything at a higher level.

KAT spent soooooooo much energy trying to climb the KP ladder that he couldn't elevate higher. The tips of KP's fingers altered that shot too. The rim finished it off.
