Reporter: Draymond, What makes Kawhi such a beast to deal with?

Draymond: Uh, he's a good player.

Reporter: Specifically, how would compare him to dealing with peak Lebron?

Draymond: He's a great player and Lebron is a out of this world - one of the greatest players we ever seen. Uh... different players though.

Reporter: How so?

Draymond: They, they got 2 different names. They like different people. Uh...like...yeah they just different. Um...they not the same person.

Just a special kinda a$$hole

Didn't watch the video..but from what you wrote..He said Kawhi is a great player...And i think the last thing Dray wants to do right now is compare Lebron and Kawhi.

He's trying to get another chip..not praise Kawhi.

And why are there reporters asking questions like this? It's the finals and they still cant take Lebrons nuts out of their mouths? Ask questions related to the game they're going to play or things regarding GSW.

Again i didn't watch the video so im guessing it's the tone in which he is speaking in?

Reads like he's trying to avoid being baited into a hot take by the media. Actually seems smart

Yeah, he is just keeping the response neutral to avoid letting himself be baited into a gotcha quote. One of the reporters tried to bait Lowry yesterday also, asking "Considering its the last game ever at Oracle, how awesome would it be to win tomorrow and shut down their arena with a Raptors championship?". Lowry was having none of it and answered very neutrally.

The last thing you want to do is say something that turns into bulletin board motivation for the other team.

Its funny how a lot of these casual fans I speak to are saying "The NBA is trying to extend this series to 6-7 cause they'll make more revenue" Over the last 10 years 5/10 NBA finals ended within 5 games.

I'm taking Friday off work.

I'm either going to celebrate and re-watch the game all day long or I'm going to be depressed and lay in fetal position all day long

This is such a tough game to call.

Warriors can have one of those nights where they have crazy energy from Oracle and everyone is just making shots along with Klay and Steph and then possibly blowout the Raptors.

....Or the Raptors can grind it out with their elite defense that has been consistent throughout the playoffs and pull away in the 4th with Kawhi putting the hammer down.

Warriors going to come out like a ball of fire the first few minutes. We need to withstand their early barrage until they tire themselves out. Raps pull away second half and win big. Let's go!!!

It's also tough to envision the Warriors losing at home 3 times in the same series.

But yeah, we've seen in this series that without KD, the Raptors are pretty clearly locked into something and are on a higher/better level than the Warriors.

Imagine what's it's like for us fans of the actual teams involved. Especially for us chasing our first nba championship after being a laughing stock for so long. This series has taken years off my life.

Or it could be one of those games where raptors are hitting everything and the warriors get blown out at home again.

Technically Warriors have lost 3 straight at home already to the Raps (regular season and playoffs, with a healthy team and Durant ). If Warriors lose again tonight it's 4 straight

Warriors made 20 3's (2nd most in finals history) at almost 48% shooting. The Raptors made 8 3's on 25% shooting. GSW won by 1 point. GSW has lost all game at home to Toronto GSW will not shoot as well from deep, and the Raptors will not shoot as poorly from deep. Logically speaking nothing tangible is pointing to GSW winning. KD making 3 3's early and his moral boost has huge.
