Shams: Danuel House BANNED from the NBA bubble. Had female guest for hours

House actions had potential to stop the whole bubble. The women is a tester which is a risky job for catching covid. Could you imagine a covid out break started in the bubble b/c a role player tried to hide a fling?

According to The Launch Pad Podcast posted 13 hours ago (I don't have more recent news - I haven't read any of the thread):

1. The only evidence the league had, by their own admission, was that House's door opened at the same time the woman entered the hotel. That's it. The NBA said it may have happened.

2. A Twitter personality ("@cuffslegend," I think) who has consistently broken stories related to LeBron and is believed to have a personal relationship with LeBron posted a tweet saying something like, "lol, Daniel [sic] House should know better than that" around the same time that the Rockets' coaches were informed by the league that House would be unavailable for Game 3 - several hours before any journalist broke the story. The implication is that LeBron knew before the Rockets' coaches did.

3. The NBA said that several times throughout the bubble, people have called the "snitch hotline" (which is how the NBA learned of the alleged incident) on the Rockets, but the NBA repeatedly believed the allegations to be unfounded. This was the first time the NBA took action on an allegation, in spite of the tenuous, circumstantial evidence.

4. The NBA has done an atrocious job of releasing information about the story, especially in light of the fact that House has a wife and children who may be in school.

None of this is from me. It's just what I'm hearing on this podcast. I don't know how or if the story has changed since the pod was posted, but it certainly seems like a bad look all around for the league.

I think you need to listen to better podcast sources man.

NBA would have covered its ass for legal liability to high heavens before they hand out any discipline in such a case. If any of the punishment is based on circumstantial evidence alone, House, being a married man and a father of three, with an NBA career and earnings that will be effected by such an incident would have both personal and professional causes to sue the league.

That was the first time I'd ever listened to that pod. I had no reason to doubt them. You don't expect a professional podcast to come out and say, "the league said this," when the league didn't actually say it.

Legal liability, besides being a different matter from anything I wrote, isn't exactly the highest standard of resonsibility that I can imagine. People get away with murder and everything else imaginable every day without being legally liable for it.

Anyway, this story isn't the kind of story that usually grabs or holds my attention. I'm past it already. I only shared the info from that podcast because it seemed like information that others would consider important.

Like I said, he went through quarantine and was allowed back in. If he wpuld have snuck strippers in to the bubble he would be gone too
