Legally and medically it's not a person until birth, you know, when it starts breathing on it's own and stuff.

Or unless it dies via external trauma inflicted upon the mother.

i mean it is very simple, like you probably read many times before.

dont accept the rules, that you have to comply at your job? you cant work. simple as that. noone forces kyrie. These are the consequences.

its the entertainment business, you are around thousands of people on the daily. the nba has to protect their product.

Is it immoral to force someone to have a baby in a country that has a for-profit medical industry, putting them into debt. And then providing no social services to support the family and baby that was had? Further perpetuating the systemic cycle of poverty?

Is that immoral?

“Congrats on being a new parent! Here is your bill for $7000!”

The average cost to have a baby in the US is just under $11,000, actually

At least, according to this: https://www.businessinsider.com/how-much-does-it-cost-to-have-a-baby-2018-4

Ridiculous.

But remember he is a person who picked a career and it’s his choice to quit or retire or whatever. It’s the nets choice to not employee him or play him or trade him. Everyone has a choice.

As you might have the freedom to make your own decisions you do not have the freedom to choose something that puts other people’s freedoms in jeopardy. So he can choose to not get vaccinated but he can’t put his teammates in jeopardy because of that choice.

That's exactly right, and that's why the NBA is at fault. By not requiring vaccinations for all players, they opened this can of worms, where a few cities are different from others and there is a patchwork of city rules about unvaccinated players. It seems in Toronto unvaxxed players risk jail if they leave their hotel except for games. Different rules apply in other cities. The league could have avoided all the drama by simply requiring vaccinations for all players. Other employers have done this, even over a union's objections.

Nah, you still are not, unless you show me proof that you guys predicted the pandemic and a vaccine mandate. Kyrie has not been a locker room cancer here like Celtics fans told us he would be. This situation is entirely related to a vaccine mandate and Kyrie is no doubt a dumbass for his stance, but he has been a well liked, popular figure in the Nets locker room. They're separate things.

Congrats to the Bucks and their fans... Giannis makes these two look like absolute clowns.

the thing with KD is, hes a reallyyyyy bad leader.

You need to have a team with leadership and a system in place. If then on top add KD into the mix, the outcome will probably turn out amazing. KD fits into everything and is probably the most efficient weapon in the league. Thats where he needs to be.

But you cannot put him on a team with a lot of distractions and no proven system in place.

Now that Kyrie should be mostly out of the picture Harden and KD can turn out great aswell obviously. but i see why people dont like KD as the starting point of a team.

Exactly. KD absolutely can't take any criticism at all. You see it with every post he makes on social. The dude has the thinnest of thin skin and goes off on people for pretty minor complaints... that's simply a personality trait that goes totally counter to what makes a great leader.

so many misinformation, do your actual research then you will know the vaccine was not rush...Most people that are against the vaccine dont even have a legit reason why.... There's a reason why Kyrie wont give his reasons, he'll get straight roasted and destroy with facts.

Correct me if I am wrong, but vaccine barely gives more of the immunity, so vaccinated people can carry and infect other people almost just as much as unvaccinated people. Is that correct? So we cant really say unvaccinated people are selfish pricks who dont care for others, Vaccine however gives far better endurance if you get sick, people who are dying or have serious consequences are unvaccinated people, so if they still dont want to get a vaccine for some reason, its their own fault really and they are hurting themselves first and foremost.

This is incorrect

The vaccine does not give you complete immunity to carrying and infecting others, but it's a pretty significant difference, not a minimal one.

Listen, I get that everybody wants their hot takes to be proven correct, but engineering a global pandemic just to own somebody on a message board seems like you went a bit overboard there, tbh.

That said, I respect your clear supervillain skills. Mad respect.
