As far as Sarr is concerned, I think he's a middle class version of JJJ.

Don't get me wrong, Risacher projects to be a useful, above average, two-way player for years to come.
Great instincts, good hustle.

But, he seems more of a jack of all trades kind of player. He lacks a dominant skill set most commonly associated with star players.
Specifically, he lacks on ball creation skills -- for himself or others. This is echoed in his modest assist, scoring, rebounding totals.
His most effective offensive skill: off-ball movement.

He's more of a play finisher than initiator. An elite team defender vs a shut down defender.
IMO, that limits him to a ceiling of elite role player/fringe all star.

If you were rated above all other prospects, it's kind of stupid being called underrated when you're not a LeBron/Wemby or even the best prospect from your own class. Some people should just read and analyze what they say before they post stupid nonsense (to clarify: the author of the tweet).

Bingo.

Zaccharie Risacher's length & versatility on defense along with his off-ball movement & play finishing on offense have been hugely beneficial to Trae Young this season. I struggle to believe that Steph Castle's presence has been as mutually beneficial to his star players.

ZR doesn't have star upside, but he'll be the most consistently useful for a competitive team...especially in post season play.

The problem is he's not even the best rookie under those premises - that should go to Jaylen Wells. So I don't think there's any argument for Risacher for ROY unless something dramatic happens in what's left of the season.

Inside the Lakers’ draft room, Knecht’s fall didn’t make sense. In preparation for the draft, L.A. had each of its scouts rank their top 100 prospects and aggregated those lists on their board. Knecht was in everyone’s top 10. What were they missing?

Pelinka called Schwartz and spoke to Knecht’s team with Excel.

“It was like, ‘You’re giving me your word?’” Pelinka told ESPN. “I had to do a trust call of, ‘There’s no red flags, right? You’re giving us your word.’ And that’s when it started to unfold.”

He's a nice player but how much upside is there? Is any team really going to regret passing on Knecht? In a redraft, does he move up all that much? Most of the teams that passed on him aren't winning anytime soon and Knecht doesn't move the needle any. He's the type of player teams outside of the lottery should be targetting though.

Personally, if my team sucks and is picking 9th or 10th, I'd rather they go big than go safe.

Alex Sarr developing well.

Playing his best game of the season so far against Jokic.

Lol I'm not sure the red circles highlighting only the worst of a game - a plus/minus stat at that! - while ignoring what he did do in the game, will convince the powers that be to move on from his being in ROTY lead.

17 on bad efficiency (5-15, 0-5 from 3) but team high 7 assists, team high 7-8FTs. Balance.

Why then does Risacher have a WORSE +/- on a team with a better record?

Too late for this season, but Sarr has shown a lot of tools, he just needs to grow a pair of balls and play more physical.
