Everyone Else: You should want Lillard to leave.

Portland Fans: We really don't want Lillard to leave.

Everyone Else: You'll be better off if Lillard leaves

Portland Fans: Again, no. We really like him.

Everyone Else: It will be better for Lillard and better for you. Don't you understand this?

Portland Fans: For the last time, no. We'd prefer he stayed.

Today:

Everyone Else: Oh man this is terrible for Portland. What are they gonna do with Lillard?

Portland Fans: We don't care. We're just happy he's back with the Blazers.

Everyone Else: You're wrong. This is going to be bad for you and so many doors are closing for you.

Portland Fans: Who the hell is signing with the Blazers? Again, we're just happy he's back. He means so much to the team and city. Let the young guys earn their roles. They're not really that young.

Everyone Else: How are you not getting that you don't want Lillard back.

Portland Fans: No, we really do. We really like Lillard.

Portland really likes Lillard. Just let it alone, man.

Portland also has one of the top young cores and everyone acts like they’re the wizards or hornets. We can defend ourselves since we get overlooked and disrespected constantly as a sports city/franchise. We def don’t need the pity of random realgm mods. We are already pursuing greatness.

We are coming for everyone the next decade with a tall /athletic top defensive team and especially with 3 Mil picks on the horizon, y’all can worry less about us and about yourselves more :D

Use an argument, not just more depressed pessimism like these lakers fans. For the love of Christ can someone apply logic here? Blazers are good haha. Like we can close the thread? We are at peace on this side. Seems like petty outsiders, at this point.

I don't know if you're referring to me here but I live in Portland and am excited about the team for the first time in a few years. They're my west team.

PG: SGA | Coleworld
SG: Big Ragu | Podz
SF: Kuminga | Thybulle
PF: KAT | K. Williams
C: BroLo | D. Sharpe

I 100% get bringing back Dame to Portland but this is a misrepresentation.

Portland has 1 Milwaukee pick and 2 pick swaps, at least one of which has a low likelihood of conveying unless Giannis becomes the 1st player ever to turn down a Supermax extension, on the horizon

scoot avg 10fg, he needs to up that number and handle the ball more, which will likely increase his ppg & apg

guy has clearly been gradually improving, so now with dame and jrue on the team, he should learn a thing or two

hes not where we hoped he would be, but im feeling optimistic, its not blind belief, but like i said, its his gradual improvement

I would like to see what this team can do before making big moves. The defense should be solid. Some depth. Questions about shooting and coaching, especially regarding player development.
