This.

All champion level teams are like this. Lebron's heat, the Bulls, the Lakers, even the Spurs had a quiet arrogance about them. I mean the Celtics in 2010 took the entire second half of the season off.

I've seen the Bulls, Heat, Celtics, Lakers, and Spurs all play with desperation in high stakes situation. Desperation, urgency, and scary intensity.

I've never seen GS play that way.

If that doesn't bother anyone, thats fine. I'm not saying it should. I'm just saying it bothers ME, and makes me think they're arrogant.

If that's true, perhaps staying cool under pressure is what helps 3 point shooters perform more consistently in clutch situations. But I did see a lot of hustle from GS, including shooters. They worked hard to run around the court for shooting space, then eased into smooth shots.

GS just did that in game 6 and 7.

I don't agree.

The refs certainly had a hand in shifting momentum, but you aren't going to win many games jacking threes and refusing to get anything going in the paint. I can't blame that fact on the refs. What happened to running plays for easy buckets to re-establish rhythm? That's something that's taught in little league ball.

Possibly, at this point it is what it is. Refs shifted momentum, Hou couldn’t overcome it. Leets agree to disagree man.

It wasn't like the refs shifted the momentum at a key moment; it was more of a Nineteen Eighty-Four style consistent "boot stamping on a human face -- Forever." Play after play after play after play.

Scott Foster stomping on James Harden's face - forever. A highly unpleasant image in my mind.

I’m going to miss watching the Inside the NBA crew. They are fun to watch. Now we stuck with Jalen Rose and the espn crew for the Finals

I think the urgency/desperation you may be missing is manifested on defense. If you watch closely, you can see the energy uptick, and dialing in. That translates to open court pace, spacing, etc.

my take was Ariza choked offensively and Harden turned the ball over way too much in the 4th.
CP3 out really hurt in this one.
Granted there were at minimum 2 non calls that could have put Harden on the line for 3 ft each in the first half
that maybe would have made enough difference in the game, but who knows what would have happened

Coach Kerr got his team to increase their intensity from the 3rd quarter. Rockets did not respond to this and seemed like they got rattled. Story of the last 2 games....

To each their own. But I saw GS raise their intensity level in the third quarter in both games, especially on defense.

Harden and cp3 didn't choke this year like they usually do. They put up a helluva fight and that injury was awful for the series. Rockets get my respect though for putting up a fight all year

let Pic have his opinion. Let’s talk about the Dubz eliminating the offensive rebound battle in the 2nd half.

9-5 in the first half 6-5 in the second.

Lamar Odom was never an all-star and I would argue that he never played at that level
