Well to be fair outside of this rebuild we were in more playoffs straight than any team in the league. It's not like our team has been trash or in a rebuild forever. Per season we have a better winning % per year than the raptors have in our existence lol. Just because yall lucked up with 1 year of the best player in basketball doesn't make the raptors some gods of the nba after 1 championship. Come on now kid don't forget where you came from and what the raptors have been just because of a guy thats not even there anymore.

Most playoffs straight? You ever heard of a team called the Spurs? Maybe do some research before you try to son someone - the Hawks were the definition of tread-milling during these so called glory years you are discussing lol.

Agreed on the spurs i was mostly talking about in our conferance we share but i did say in the league instead. We all know about the Spurs but i mispoke so i'll take that L. Now with that said ofcourse we were a treadmill team as was the raptors as no one believed they would or could beat a lebron led team either. Before last year and Leonard since the raptors beginning yall weres ame as us either not in the playoffs or 1st / 2nd round exits all but 1 year as well just like us with coach bud. I can allow a lakers, bulls, celtics fan etc... to talk about how a winning team with a good legacy is supposed to play ball. But gtfoh with the raptors and that below .500 all time record treadmill crap as well. If yall were legit eastern conferance finals or nba finals teams every year i might give it some leeway but yall have only done that twice in the raptors entire existence in 25 years.

And what are the Atlanta Hawks known for other then being around a zillion years relocating a bunch of times
and never winning a championship? Hell when was the last time you even made the Finals? Maybe in St. Louis before
color TV was invented if that?

And the only thing of relevance they've done in Atlanta is have Dominique Wilkins in the 80's and early 90's that's
it. It's actually kind of surprising no one talks about the Hawks ineptitude with other franchises like the Browns,
Knicks, Leafs, Bills, Indians etc etc. I guess because they literally have next to no fans and historically one of
the deadest crowds in the league literally nobody even cares to bring them up.

The Hawks are like the Hornets both from the South both just kind of exist both with next to no fanfare.

Kemba was supposed to be on a minutes restriction and yet Nurse played him for the whole 4th quarter? JFC.

If I blame anyone for the loss, it has to be Nick Nurse. Man, you have a full roster of all stars. Make some substitutions! I don't want to single players out, so I'll just say that even Giannis shouldn't be going for that many straight minutes. He never does on the Bucks.

I agree Nurse should've made more subs, give guys like Butler or Gobert more run in the 4th....but I don't think Vogel made any subs in the 4th as well.

Well, I can't remember exactly when Vogel did his hockey line change thing, although I think it was pretty early in the 4th so your point stands. But his team was coming back well and his opponent wasn't adjusting at all. So I get it from their perspective, even if I don't really like it much. I'd prefer that both sides rotate players and keep them fresh in an all star game. Let everyone get some burn and enjoy it.

Real Basketball in an All Star game.Albeit only the 4th quarter I've never seen this before.Hats off to the players this was fantastic. It was really intense like a playoff game.Maybe it was their way of honoring Kobe.

Really fun game. Should make both third and fourth quarter more competitive with a point milestone to win. Maybe 25 in third and 30 in 4th.

JoJo was the only guy on the Giannis roster that could get his own shot vs good defense. Well that played down the stretch. Should show a lot about Giannis, Pascal in regards to how the playoffs can go. Defense was great to watch though.

They really should've played Butler over kemba or siakim in the end.

No great fan of Luka or Trey but an insult that they didn’t play in 4th quarter unless subject to minutes restrictions

Nobody cares about the result and not as if their replacements were lights out

Why is Lowry getting so much heat for taking charges. It’s part of what got him there and the 4th quarter was like a Game 7 Finals.

Best all-star game in at minimum 17 years. Too bad it ended with anti-climatic free throws.

I loved that he was playing D. The first time he did it the refs weren't sure if they should call charges in the all-star game. But they changed their tune after everybody started clearly caring. I was pulling for Lowry to get MVP if they won. Made 3 crucial defensive plays fairly late.

The minutes in the box score are wrong because of the 4th, but I’ve read that Luka played the 2nd least minutes for his team after Tatum. Less than Sabonis and Booker...

Honestly, I think this is a huge lack of respect for Doncic and the fans, even if Doncic doesn’t seem to care and said he was cold at the end anyway.

Same with Trae. They were voted in, just play them.

Fell asleep early because the first quarter was boring and missed most of the game figuring it’d suck, what point did the game get good?

Probably going to rewatch while we have a few days of no games, thinking I’ll watch the second half.

Let me say that if he was on my team I would have probably loved it lol but watching him flop around out there and taking away the game winning harden 3 kinda ruined this great game. Ended up being a free throw contest at the end which was a buzzkill. Lowry out there playing hockey bouncing off everybody

Almost the entire 4th was great. First minute or so wasn't that intense as Team LeBron closed the gap, but once it was close, it was intense the rest of the way.

Hell of a game

Regarding free throws ending, I think it’s nearly impossible to not have that option because the losing team will just continue to hack. The refs just need to play those situations like they do the last possession of a normal game; dont call ticky tack fouls and let a little more slide.

I thought it was a clear push off and I didn't want it on that Harden 3. In hindsight, yes, the 3 was better than what we actually got, but I was hoping for a clean play that led to the win.

Lowry and CP3 were the primary reason that game was fun to watch in the 4th.

They let someone sideswipe Kemba Walker and he fell pretty hard to the floor. It was pretty dangerous. They need to review how they're going to approach it, because you have two teams full of dudes who aren't used to getting called for fouls, like, ever, and especially not at the end of games. Someone's going to get hurt.
