Jaylen Brown will be a star in this league. If his jumper continues to improve, the sky isn't the limit.
Handsome.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Malcolm Brodgon. The guy is a dream role player. We're using him at the 1/2 right now and he's been nothing but steady on both ends of the floor.
Hopefully it continues, particularly the three ball. Thought his range might be stretched coming in.

However, if he can't play in back to backs or get his minutes up to 30 per game, he leaves the door open for guys like Brown and Dunn, who are getting starter minutes right now due to injuries.
There aren't many rookies right now who are consistently getting 30 minutes a night, which is usually the minutes rate where ROY candidates play at. Maybe this will be one of the rare seasons the ROY doesn't play 30MPG.
Assuming health, 30 -30+ mpg is almost assured. He is at 24 mpg right now and his minutes have been on a pretty steep ascent since pre-season. The back to backs are still up in the air though. Regardless, I don't think the increase in time is that important considering he is putting up really good numbers in his limited time.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I'm really glad that Embiid is playing so well, I pray that he stays healthy because he's damn fun to watch. I had almost forgotten how good a prospect he was coming out of Kansas, all of the Olajuwon comparisons.

He's been solid all year despite his shot not falling.
I'm usually not someone who throws the +/- stat around, because often times it tells the opposite of the truth, but in Ingram's case it has told the true story. He hasn't been putting up huge numbers, but the Lakers always seem to go on runs when he's on the floor. Their bench is leading the NBA in scoring and a lot of times Ingram is the guy bringing the ball up.
He's raw, but he just plays solid. He makes the teammates around him better, even on the defensive end. The box score watchers will see a guy who's struggling. Doug Collins said it best tonight, his shot wasn't falling but he still found multiple ways to impact the game.

Well, he is like the youngest player in nba. He played few games and he did good but still sometimes coach leave him out of rotation.

Ingram's length has been amazing and I see his defensive impact on the floor every game. He's not an offensive beast...yet...but watch out because Ingram is the best player out of his draft.

Surely hope that's the case, because this draft looks terrible to me.

Well it's early but I've seen some very positive things from Ingram. He impacts the game even though his shot isn't falling. Shows good defensive instincts, good court vision and bball IQ, good passing, isn't turnover prone and doesn't seem to make stupid plays. I think the game needs to slow down for him a bit, as he seems to rush his 3pt shot a lot of the time, and he needs to grow into his body, but that he will end up very good, I have very high hopes for him, and even if he doesn't end up killing it in the scoring department this year (I expect his scoring to be decent though and improve as the year goes on) I think he will be a good scorer in the future. Also, his ft shooting which was only 68% in college has been good so far, 84.6%, and he gets the 3rd most attempts on the team/36 so that's encouraging

IMO Brown, Ingram, Dunn, and Chriss will be very good players. I think simmons as well but i'm not 100% sold on him. Out of the bunch i'd guess 2-3 all stars and maybe 1 or 2 superstars out of those.
I honestly think in time this class will turn out better than expected.

Saric had bad numbers tonight, but he was +22. Was he playing well without putting numbers or is it just being at the right place at the right time?

Just a 76ers fan musing, but I really cannot wait for Simmons to play. I honestly think we're a 2-3 team right now with him in the lineup. An Embiid/Simmons P & R is going to be unstoppable. Simmons ability to get to the rim is going to be a force to reckon with when you have Embiid crashing behind him. God, let these 2 months go by quick.

I'm actually very curious to see how well Ben plays with a dominant post player. We haven't seen that yet on any level with him. I ask because he is so ball dominant I'm hoping we get more of a magic/Kareem vibe with the two where Ben takes the step back in the half court and let JoJo thrive and Ben takes his opportunities in the open floor where he's going to be a lot more effective.

I'm a bit concerned about Ingram. There's too many dominant personalities on the Lakers for Ingram to ever be the volume scorer that the Lakers hope him to be. Wiggins' has inconsistent energy and even he put up 16 ppg his rookie year.
For Ingram to be a future great scorer he has to be more aggressive, even among other good players.

Based on what?
Ingram has looked absolutely terrible shooting the ball after his first 6 games???
2-13 from 3 points shots taken (0.154%)
11-32 shots made inside the 3 point line (0.375%)
His shooting to begin his nba career has been nothing short of appalling.
