Reinsdorf comes across as a bit of a hypocrite in the early episodes. Whenever he gives opinion about the clashes within the group or players' issues with management; be it as Pippen asking to leave or Phil not coming back etc, he reflects attention and keeps scapegoating the GM Krause. You were the owner ffs, he acts like he had no saying and he had to follow instructions from Krause. You had a group winning titles year by year and breaking records, dont come up with that garbage "Phil had a bad relationship with Krause" "Oh i think Michael was angry with the GM" "I don't know what happened but Scottie shouted at Krause", give me a **** break, you were the owner, nothing would have happened if you didn't want it to happen.

As for Pippen, clearly his long term deal was a bad decision as the sport was gaining global attention even more and money was flooding but even Scottie said he had to take care of families and maybe he was concerned for a career ending injury, keep in mind the league was quite tough physically back then.

Did Pippen make good chunk from the sponsors and commercials? I sure hope so. He was literally top 5 player in the league at the time.

Bob Costas appearance had me leaning. I miss the NBA on NBC.

He was arguably a top 5 player in the league. He was literally a top 20 player in the league.

I'd like to hear names of those 10-15 players better than him. He could have an argument for even Top 3 at the time.

Bird, Magic, Isiah, Hakeem, Barkley, Malone, Stockton, Shaq, Penny , Grant Hill, Clyde, Ewing, David, Kobe, Duncan...

Those are some of the players that played while Pippen was active that I would have choosen for my team before Scottie. I don't think he was ever a TOP 5 player of the League.

He is without a doubt the player whose prestige has rised more in the years after his retirement in comparison with what it was while active.

I loved the ending of episodes 7 and 8. Specially the 7th one. Very telling.

How about Dominique? Did anyone thought of Pippen as even half the player Nique was back in the day?

Yeah also Dominique.

And there are others that although not clearly better are so close like Tracy, or Mullin, or AI that it is a wash..

Bird and Magic are part of the previous era and so are Duncan, Shaq and Kobe.

There is no way Grant Hill, Penny, Clyde and Isiah are better than him in 1990's.

On top of that I also found Sally blatantly saying Jordan was the GOAT surprising

Not because it's a controversial opinion to have, just that Salley's always beat around the bush when asked about Jordan

I enjoyed "The Greek Freak", Giannis first championship documentary. You guys will see it in 2042 but it will give a lot of insight into this coronavirus season and how it eventually catapults the Bucks into dominating the NBA. Can't say much more, you guys will have so much to talk about.

One of my biggest takeaways from these last two is how unfairly Isaiah Thomas' legacy has been dumped on over that stupid handshaking incident.

I don't think his legacy is dumped. Just shows that Zeke could be a jerk, and that he was frequently.

And I loved him as a player, and now he is one of my favorite commentators in the sport. His stories are always so funny.

Having a Career TS% of 51.8% and very underwhelming advanced stats provide better, valid reason for him often being overlooked

All of them are jerks. He just made the unfortunate decision to be a jerk to the most likable stars in NBA history.

Giving me advanced stats for a player that led a team that beat 3 of the biggest stars and dynasties in NBA history at their best? Do you seriously think that's reason enough to be overlooked?

Im impressed that MJ okayed this documentary.
It really shows he had help and he lost when he didn't have top tier guys. He wasnt this Tim Duncan figure.

Yeah IT was really good. Go back and watch some of these Bulls-Piston games. Just how fast he is and how dangerous he can get in bunches.

IMO MJ is not one of the most likable stars in NBA history.
