Yeah being realistic that Masai waited too long to trade Siakam is not self loathing. Take off the homer glasses bruh. Masai is not paying your bills

You mean like Pascal Siakam, who was picked at 27?

I think Indy overpaid by at least 1 draft pick given the flight risk of Siakam, but what percentage of guys drafted in the 20-30 range turn into all-stars?

What did we give up exactly?

You think the 25th pick in 2026 is making or breaking our contender status? Pacers were already 4th in the East before Hali’s injury. They had already beaten every top East team including Boston twice and Milwaukee 4 times.
you gave up 3 1st rd picks which are the most valuable assets in today's league.

You traded them for a borderline all-star talent. Sure you guys improved, but I still think Mil/Bos/Philly/NY are all better.

Also Siakam is a win now player in the middle of his prime. Hali needs a younger running mate.

Late first are not the most valuable assets in the league. Teams sell them for just money.

Maybe the Raptors can trade the 2 firsts this year back to San Antonio for their own first. So the 2 trades aggregated would be Siakam for Poetl, Brown and a late first.

Regular season or not, we’ve already beaten every team you just listed BEFORE acquiring Siakam.

The younger running mates are Mathurin and Walker they’re already on the team. The team is trying to compete now and in the future.

Love this trade for Indiana if they can get him signed which, considering what they gave up, I'd have to assume is a formality.
East is going to be very interesting this playoffs.

What are the details on the picks, at first I thought this was highway robbery but hearing that 2 of the 3 picks will convey this year… not sure if the picks hold enough value for Toronto.

Raptors do NOT care about picks, only young upside guys or they would have fleeced the Knicks of all their picks.

Charlotte beat Boston are they better?

You have to prove yourself in the playoffs before people buy your hype. Pacers are up and coming they will have plenty of time to contend. I just don't think they contend this year. If I'm wrong please save this post and I will gladly eat crow.

Holy crap that's moronic. Give up 2 lottery pick players that they are super high on. Instead of late 1st round picks. Lunacy

Anyway, Mathurin and Walker have aready been said by Pacers to be untouchable in any Pascal trade scenario.

Pacers didn't give up much out of their rotation. Three firsts is probably a lot but if the trade works those will be late firsts.

Excited for the Pacers fans who haven't had a good team in a long time.

If we can get Siakam while keeping Haliburton, Mathurin, Walker, Sheppard, Nesmith, Turner, Nembhard, and Jackson, then I’m all about it.

The two firsts this year mean nothing to me as they shouldn’t be very good picks and this draft class looks awful. Then one protected 1st in the future? That’s a fair trade off in hopes of getting a leg up on signing Siakam. Especially as I believe the Pacers would be able to offer the most money(though, that does concern me), and the Pacers locker room is super tight knit, and he may love playing with Haliburton.

I’m completely out on anything including Mathurin or Walker though. Honestly wouldn’t even wanna trade Nembhard, Jackson, or Sheppard for him, just because of the risk of him leaving. But bad picks? Sure, why not?

I'm happy, we done good.

I've been telling people for a month or longer that Mathurin and/or Walker was NOT going anywhere.
