OMG... LeBron only 8 pts in an NBA Finals game

What's REALLY shocking to me more than the 8 point outing is LeBron's turnover numbers. How the hell does a guy who's only getting up 14 FGApg manage to turn the ball over a whopping 3.5 times a game?

Meanwhile, Wade who's averaging 20FGApg is only turning the ball over 1.5 times a game.

LeBron's numbers are especially astonishing for a manchild who is supposedly the greatest passer the game has ever seen since Magic, Stockton, Nash and Kidd combined.

1 series > everything else he has ever done in his career

One series this season...

One series last season against Boston ....

The series in the Finals against the Spurs ....

Watch those series, and you will understand why LeBron is being hammered. He quit on his team in one of them. He played bad against the Spurs, and got swept. And against the Dallas Mavericks, he's been terrible, and actually checked out of a game mentally, and scored 8 points, while Jason Terry, and Marion scored on him at will, and trash talked him.

I understand what ur saying, but how did Wade have the tougher assignment in the Boston Series, while Lebron was checking the Better Player in Paul Pierce?, PPl can bring up the Finals, but in my opinion i feel the sameway about it as Laker Fans, when sum1 brings up Kobe's bad games in the Indiana Series..LBJ in my opinion was not in his Prime yet..I was amazed that he beat Det..He wasnt ready for those Spurs...So that being one of the crucial series in his career, idk..The Boston series, I agree and if he loses this won, well then any criticsm is def. deserved.

idk if thats true, and at this point i dont care, he needs to step it up, last yr, the word is by many sources that his mother had slept with his teammate, so ok I was Leinant on his Game 5 performance, I could see how that could affect some1...But even if his wife did cheat, thats no excuse leave that s#it off the court, you should be mentally stronger after what transpired last season, nobody wants to hear that BS, I dont even blieve, but either way it doesnt matter.

Paul Pierce was injured in that series. And Ray Allen had one of the most efficient seasons, with nearly hitting 50/45/90 from the field. Ray Allen had a season for the ages. And Ray Allen is a more difficult guy to guard because it's a track meet. The Boston offense runs him off two and three screens not once, but twice in the same possession. Add to the fact that D Wade ran with Allen in that track meet the entire series, and averaged 30/7/5. It's not that hard to understand how Wade had the tougher assignment.

I'd say the fact that he's been invisible down the stretch of each of these games is worse than that 8 point game. Especially in a series that has come down to key possessions in the 4th deciding the outcome of 4/5 games.

As far as I'm concerned that's 3 games in a row for Bron where he's wilted. He didn't impress me in G3 at all, he just got some early dunks to pad his stats

I remember Brian Windhorst saying once that Lebron is one of the most aware people he's ever seen. That not only would he be aware of everyone on the court at once, but could keep track of what people in the fans are interacting with to. That he's the type to talk on the phone, use the internet, eat food and watch tv at the same time. He has a supernatural sense of being aware of many things at once and that's what makes his bball IQ legendary

I don't know if that's an advantage. If true, it could mean Lebron is too aware of the pressure of these Finals for his legacy. He could have some David Robinson in him. Robinson was too off court intelligent to be a great clutch player. He thought too much about the biggest moments.

I'm starting to wonder, that guy earlier in the thread who kept insisting that Lebron's athleticism has taken a big hit and he doesn't have the constant ability to explosive drive to the hole, starting to wonder if that's true. That would actually explain everything.

Maybe his athleticism really is disappearing, and he knows it, he can feel it, he can only muster the energy every once in a while. Heck that explains why he's so willing to be Wade's sidekick...

he's just needs to slim down a bit and develop a post game. Then he needs to develop the mentality that no coach ever again will put a guard to guard him.

Lebron settling to long 2s and some 3s while being guarded by Kidd was just disgusting (he made the first one and jackson praised him for some reason).

Lebron played better in this last game but still sucked by his usual standards. The best he actually looked IMO was when Wade was out injured, his aggressiveness went way up even with Dallas swarming him, but once Wade came back he immediately went back into passive/distributor/stand in the corner mode again.

That to me shows it's really mental for him.

I think its unfair for people to say Lebron quit. He didn't quit he just never had what it takes to rise up. Lebron is the kind when he is praised and comfortable he is great. But when he is pushed, he will fade. Thats just how hes made. Its not his fault. The problem is he brought it on himself, by acting like a self entitled jerk. You shouldn't play the part if you can't back it up, when you're genuinely not built that way. Other people live in this world believe it or not. And they compete too. They want their due respect. And they will come after you for it. Lebron, you're not built for that son.
