I wonder if Harden really has a concussion. He is known for flopping and acting

so you're saying it was a premeditated response?

no i didn't say it was premeditated, to me it looked like he was fired up about the dunk, harden came up kind of mocking him and artest swung an elbow as a sort of "get out of my face" manuever, which due to it being ron artest, was actually a vicious elbow to the head.

He came out after halftime, ready to play, but they sent him back to the locker room because he started showing concussion-like symptoms. I know that flopping is the hot topic to throw around lately, but it's unlikely he'd miss the second half of an important game just to try to sell whether or not it was real.

the great coaches seem to have one thing in common...they teach you to play dirty and get away with it. LAL no longer has a great coach.

Dumb dumb post.

Ron Artest is 6'8" and about 260 pounds. He looked like he fully threw his elbow into his head.

Any more stupid comments?

If running into the stands and attacking fans didn't get him a lifetime ban, I don't think this will put him there. The worst I could see it going is he's out for the rest of the season. But probably 6-8 games.

why don't you ask Ron to do that to you and see if you have a concussion or not.

You're comparing an isolated incident in Detroit with a pattern and history of unruly behavior. The fact is, eventually, the NBA could just say "we're done with this." No one is saying this is worse than the brawl, but Stern has to have Artest on very thin ice.

That was young in his career too. Now he's gotten a reputation of being crazy and this is no exception. He has hurt players before.

With his history anything less than 5 games would be a joke.

Lakers coach Mike Brown, asked before the fourth quarter what he thought of World Peace's action, told Salters: "I didn't see it. I still haven't seen it. I don't know what he did."

Anyone else buying this?

He's put in an awkward position. Either he throws a player under the bus or lies to the media about not seeing anything.

yeah, i'll agree with this. Watched again and it seems forceful enough to cause a concussion
