Convinced the gb only watched the 4th quarter pg and Russ have stunk it up shooting wise melo iso isn’t ideal but compared to what those 2 were throwing up it was better

PG is a good shooter. He isn't great at making game-winning shots but he can definitely make game-tying shots.

There is a difference between "not great in game winning situations" and "isn't a good shooter."
