Also, almost no team remains a contender for a straight decade. Even teams with way more star power and assets than the Bucks and Lakers do now fall apart. Having access to all their picks is sooo valuable.

Playoff Bledsoe is reverse playoff rondo. Addition by subtraction

it's probably been mentioned already but when giannis leaves, the bucks will enter dark times being a bad team and no 1st rounder.

Advanced stats suggest Jrue is more impactful offensively than Bledsoe. That alone to me makes Jrue more valuable.

Jrue: 17.0 PER, .537 TS%, .088 WS/48, 1.6 OBPM, 0.2 DBPM, 1.8 BPM, 2.0 VORP, 2.02 ORPM, 1.08 DRPM, 3.11 RPM, 8.26 WINS
Bledsoe: 17.6 PER, .571 TS%, .157 WS/48, 0.8 OBPM, 1.1 DBPM, 1.8 BPM, 1.6 VORP, 3.06 ORPM, -0.95 DRPM, 2.11 RPM, 5.37 WINS

Per 100 possessions:
Jrue: 25.5 pts / 6.4 reb / 8.9 ast / 2.2 stl / 1.0 blk
Bledsoe: 25.3 pts / 7.8 reb / 9.1 ast / 1.6 stl / 0.7 blk

IDK, I've always felt like Jrue is one of those players whose reputation is way ahead of how they actually play on the court. Maybe that's just me, though, and he's actually the guy that Giannis needs. Highly doubt that, though. Marginal improvement at best. Average shooter. Needs the ball in his hands. Very good defender, but so is Bledsoe.

True. He did say "If they make the right moves I'm saying" but since there's 0 accountability in this day and age, go figure!

I was just about to bring this up, Jrue looked like a two-way superstar in that series, but what else does he have to show for his tenure at NO?

What I mostly recall is that he was often injured. Not a good sign giving up so many picks for an injury-prone player.

Sill the trade is a win if this helps the Bucks convince Giannis to resign with them on a 5-year deal.

Really don't get the thrill for the Bucks. Holiday and Bogdanovic are really not that good....

He wasn't often injured. He was often inconsistent though.
He is still a great defender though and will guard 1-4.

34, 40, 65, 67, 81, 67, 61 since he joined the Pels.

Not exactly a pillar of health. If someone like AD is considered injury prone, he definitely is.

As a Bucks fan we got hosed in this deal. But there is no doubting the intent, and I guess it shows the extent they'll go to to try and win now.

Ridiculous overpayment for Holiday. He is not a star and he is not worth all those picks.

worrying so much about draft picks will end up making your superstar leave town.

Then what?

I am sure giannis was in on this deal and knew about it. Just like how the suns were with booker when it came to cp3. These superstars want to win now and want proven players around them to help right off the bat.....
