He is, that why I am saying this. If this was Biyombo fumbling everything he touches, I woundt act surprise, but this guy Domantas Sabonis, man does he make stupid passes when I watch him play for his country. Maybe he underrates competition, but man, he can overflare his passes to asinine degree. I dont watch him often in the NBA, but I said this in game threads, it seems like every time I would watch him in Indiana (I dont think I have seen a single game of his in Sacramento), he always has a bad game. Like if you asked me, Brogdon - easily best Indiana player before that trade. I know Sabonis puts up stats, but it is just my luck to watch a fellow Lithuanian, that every time I see him, he kinda sucks in the game.
Are you trying to ruin Dom's career like you did with DMO?
It was first game in 5 months
Technically he's better passer in NT (final tournaments, no qualifications or friendlies) than father: 19 assist and 15 turnovers versus 70 assists and 70 turnovers
How is me writing a comment ruins careers?

I agree about the supporting cast, but I disagree about labeling it the "Diamantidis/Spanoulis era" if anything that was the Papaloukas era. He was the leader/most important player in those successful teams and with the most great matches in the big wins and comebacks.
It is interesting how these great teams/generations, comes in a set. Greece had Papaloukas, Diamantidis and Spanoulis at the same time, Spain had Navarro, Pau and other great players at the same time, Argentina had Manu, Scola, Nocioni, Delfino at the same time, Lithuania had Siskauskas, jasikevicius, Macijauskas at the same time. Serbia been good for years, but now they god Jokic, Bogdanovic and Micic. I guess great teams just happen and it always require multiple stars, but it is interesting that sometimes you just hit a jackpot generation.
Poor Dirk, he was the one who was way out of sync, his teammates were garbage, but look at Germany now, imagine current Germany with prime dirk, thats Spain level good.

I don't know man, he looks good, but man his passing can be stupid sometimes.

It certainly could be that, it could also be guys not cutting the way he sees fit, some times it’s also chemistry. There’s times you play with someone for the first time and you don’t even need to communicate much with each other on the court yet you know where you both are at all times, a lot of it is sensing what your team mate likes to do at what time during the game hence chemistry.

I didnt plan it, this game just reminded me of this, he struggles with passing on national team it seems. This is great example of stats not telling a reality, Domantas averages 3 times more assists than his father did - his father, much better passer though.
Domantas still looks good, underrated athlete and in great shape, I think he doesnt get enough credit for great size/strength/speed combo, people see white guy and call him finese or skilled, which he is skilled, but man is a serious athlete. The way he got defensive rebound, and just went coast to coast for and-one, it is in a way, somewhat Giannis like.

Bosnian federation is struggling to secure the money to finance expenses and might even skip the tourment.
I think/hope it will eventually get sorted out.

If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Even WO Bonga and Kleber they a solid team, it wouldn't be a big surprise if they get a medal.

Sorry, I retract my accusations, you name is NOT a killing word
NT career totals
Arvydas 70 assists 70 turnovers
Domantas 19 assists 15 turnovers
director forgot to show Arvydas daughter who was in the stands too
How good is Sabonis family at basketball? Lithuanian top men league team signed Arvydas daughter. Technically they signed her boyfriend

Mo Wagner is out too. Still solid, but imo having Mo Wagner and Kleber would have made them really dynamic at the big positions, creating silly spacing for Schroder and Wagner.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Germany could have had one of the strongest front courts at Eurobasket but without players like Barthel, Pleiss, M. Wagner, Hartenstein, Oscar Da Silva or Maxi Kleber - we are just solid (but still good).

Lithuania trashed Finland. Watching Valanciunas play those guys, I wonder how good those past all time great legends who never played in the NBA are, because man, JV looks better than all of these, and at the end of the day, hes just.... Valanciunas. Make this guy play in Europe all career, people would talk about him like hes Arvydas SAbonis haha, but maybe I am overreacting, FInland does suck big time. Maybe it will change when they start facing better quality competition, but Valanciunas is head and shoulders best player on the court every time. Sabonis looked better too, he can handle the ball, find teammates, if only their perimeter players hit their shots in Euros, I see them as legit medal contenders.
Got to say, I had misconception about who Brazdeikis is. As a person who knew little about him, I thought he was a shooter, and hes not. Hes a bricklayer and his form is ugly as hell. But on the other hand, he is far more physical than I thought and has great handle.

Finland is between generations. The previous generation who were the base of Finland's national team has retired or are just too old to be impactful, and new generations who started playing basketball because of the not retiring generation are still couple years away to be able to challenge European top national teams (if they ever can). And it didn't help Finland was missing Markkanen and other two starters. So really shouldn't read too much about how good Valanciunas or Sabonis are based on this game (or the yesterday's game).
Even when Markkanen and those two other starters return Finland can't challenge top teams like they used to in the past, but their playing style might be difficult against weaker teams in Eurobasket. The group where Finland plays is weak enough that Finland can actually reach top 16, but after that it is really difficult to see them get further.
