There’s no expectation of privacy in public or public facing jobs. If you want anonymity don’t have a high ranking position within an NBA team.

Posting pictures is fair game imo

What? Immature manchildren are posting random Linkedin profiles of women in the Celtics org. How are their jobs public facing? Almost all of these women are not the person who slept with Ime, but you're causing them permanent reputational harm and discouraging all other women from working for the Celtics or in any NBA front office. And-1s and turning the NBA into a male soap opera is worth **** with people's lives and careers? Grow up.

Well you can blame Ime and the women he slept with for that. If pictures are made public on LinkedIn or wherever it’s fair game.

Absolutely sickening.

I feel bad for the dudes that were cheated on.

However, they should thank Udoka for showing them their POS wives true colors.

I feel bad for young men that think they can find a decent woman in this day and age. If you're rich, good looking and packing, you can find a decent woman, but if you're a regular Joe, good damn luck.

I say suspend Udoka for 10 games, fire the women, and move on.

Strike 2 / blatant misogyny

So my actual opinions aren't allowed here?

Do you live in 2022?

Absolutely ridiculous to strike me over an opinion.

WTF.

You can go post on RealGM Saudi Arabia.

Have to say I don't understand the misogyny conclusion.

I have this guy blocked, so I didn't see his initial post. Looks pretty much on brand to me.

But you're making his point for him then. I asked if he was wrong and rather than just saying no, he's not wrong, you muddied the waters by making it about you 'think' he's thinking. All walks of people do this, yet it seems to be the recent successful Black coach who get this treatment.

Can you point to the recent white guy equivalent where this was not a problem?

White owners hiring white executives hiring white coaches in a league that's 70% Black tend to stick together. Stephen A. is in a position to know this, and he's saying it happens. We don't have to know who it is, just that it exists and they didn't get this treatment. As the clip says, it's only an issue if you choose to fire/punish the coach and make it an issue. Otherwise, it's a personal matter that could've been handled in house.

Note:

We don't need to have every topic turned into some discussion about racism.

I won't. You should practice more discretion in throwing around accusatory words though. Words matter. I once had a white guy tell me I was racist against Black people ... and I'm Black.

My Black wife and Black kids had a good laugh about that over dinner.

Fair enough, Maybe it was a bit strong.

But the guy brought up an unrelated point, on a completely meaningless and made up slight about mens rights. Bringing up that kind of topic out of nowhere clearly has an anti-feminist agenda

The difference in your tone here is that he would probably have no problem being called "anti-feminist", but I'm almost certain he is against being called a misogynist.

They are clearly two separate things.

Thank you for your humility.

In what world is a job like redacted considered high ranking , public facing or expected to come with public exposure like this? Can you name a single person in a similar role in any other NBA team? Or any other professional sports organization? Could you even find that information online if you tried?

I think if you work for an NBA team your position is pretty public. Is it in bad taste? Yes, probably. But I don't think it's a huge deal. I don't thin it's defamation.

No. I'm saying Stephen A. is saying it happens, and based on his experience, history, and I don't know, the sociology of this country, I believe him. You don't have to. But those are certainly not baseless stands to take.

Really?

Ime Udoka, engaged man, should get a much smaller punishment than the woman (also married)? He should be commended for "exposing a cheater"...by being a cheater himself? She should be fined and he should only be suspended?

Shocker Stephen A. would go there. SHOCKER.

The Celtics having policy regarding this behavior has absolutely jack squat to do with how a demographic of people may or may not behave in their professional lives.

Are you saying he's wrong?

of course he's wrong. he's a race baiting cvnt who should be fired/suspended for saying such blatant racist things on air.

EDIT - Don't use insults and don't circumvent the language filter.

Yea I'd have to agree, I don't see him saying anything about hating women which is what misogyny is. People can thrash Ime Udoka for what he did (which is fine I understand) but not being able to say the same for a married woman involved in the same thing sounds like a double standard to me

Most positions in an NBA organization are NOT public, in any form. Come on. General manager? Sure. How do we know this? Because when a team hires a GM, or President or Personnel, or Lead Scout, there's a press release. I worked for the Sixers for two years, trust, you've NEVER heard of me. LOL

Found Ben Simmons' shooting coach.
