When Lebron was with Cleveland and Miami he had a great streak of games where he wasn't even called for a foul. Now, I see last night people are upset, but Lebron already traveled. Poor refs never thought of calling it.

Lakers vs Denver in the playoff Bubble was blatant to me. Jokic and Denver never had a chance. Not only did MPJ not show up as the teams second option, but that's beside the point, because Jokic was getting no calls, and was being hacked.

L2M says it was a foul.
But there was also a foul by Anthony Davis that didn't get called at 38 seconds left. So probably OT would have been the right outcome anyway.

There shouldn't be so much focus on it being the last play of regulation and potentially costing the game. Hypothetically there could have been 3 missed calls on the C's earlier in the game, and just 1 on LAL. In that case, the missed call in the end should not have mattered if the game was called to perfection.

I'm never one to call it a conspiracy but it's been absolutely brutal for the lakers the last 3 weeks. ---- 5 non- calls in 4 games - all end of game situations is just really horrible.

they should be 27-23 by now if those fouls were called, (which would be 4th in the West). but instead theyre 23-27 (which is 13th in the West)..

There has to be some accountability for these stupid refs. otherwise, why are they even in the court for if theyre not going to do their jobs...

Okay you can't selectively pick games - they benefited from a last second foul call against Sacremento. Talk about gift wrapping a game. Tie game - 2 free throws with few seconds left. Let's be honest here, last second fouls are rarely called.

Which AD play?

Also, you can't just take one call and say well it would have been OT anyways. Especially once you look at the Dennis "foul" on Tatum's missed layup, the AD box out that was called a foul, the other Dennis foul inside the FT line on Brown... and speaking of the ref who "missed" the call on the LeBron drive. He was able to see Bev's foul on Brown while he was running back AT HALF COURT, but wasn't able to see the foul he was looking directly at on the baseline.

That game was so horribly reffed on both sides it's insane. Boston should be pissed as well.

which Kings game? the one where they didnt call a foul on the 3 pt shot of Nunn.. that should have been a 4 pt play & potentially tied the game?

Lebron has been allowed to push off and clear out opponents with his off arm for 20 years with impunity. I'm not losing sleep here at all. Few have had a friendlier whistle.

the only thing i see there is that the NBA is trying to make up for their horrible officiating by making sure the Lakers lose in the last 3 weeks. which does not make things right either. because if that is the case, that's even worse.

anyway, as I said, I'm not one for conspiracies. but let's not pretend that officiating doesnt suck. as to who ultimately benefits, that's beside the point.

Disagree. It’s the point.

The disrespect from the Refs this man has been getting for the last decade is unreal.

Yes. Dude was literally looking directly at the play from 3 feet away. When the same thing happens over and over again, it’s clear that it’s the league’s agenda. Absolute joke of a league.

serves him right for fouling KD on the arm in game 1 of the 2012 finals

The truth is that LeBron is a very hard player to officiate -- one play he gets hacked, climbed on, and there is nothing. Another he will get LeWhistle, or not be called for fouls himself.

I remember that, it was absolutely bizarre to see everyone else picking up fouls except him. It's like hey, I did see LeBron out there playing defense, you mean to tell me he committed no or one foul the whole game? It was nuts.

But I honestly have a really hard time telling how good or bad his whistle is overall given some of the extremes we've seen -- no calls for big hacks on him, no calls on him as a defender, or sneeze fouls called against his defenders. The physical freaks are always the hardest to officiate.

Ridiculous thread. We're talking about a player that you couldn't breath on for a decade+ while he was running through the EC. This is a guy who has averaged 1.8 fouls a night for his career. He was in the 1.5 range in Miami when he was playing the most aggressive defense of his life.

Given that his free throw rate is well below tons of other star players despite driving more than 99% of the league, this is objectively false.

Guys like James Harden are red faced with envy when looking at Lebron's whopping, absurd, can't-even-breathe-on-him 5.9 FTA per game in his 2016 playoff run.

I mean he averages nine attempts in the playoffs for his career and peaked at 14 a night but good job cherry picking the one run where his draw rate wasn't huge. That's more than Harden, Wade, etc. who are notorious for their attempts. The only modern guys who averaged a notable amount more are Jordan and Shaq.
