Yeah the Warriors are not winning 3 in a row, including one on the road. The Warriors are one of the worst road teams this year (11-30). Only the Pistons, Spurs, and Rockets were worse on the road. This series is basically over, I don't see them bouncing back on the road where they struggle mightily all year.

If GS didn't miss Wiggins for 55 gms and had GP2 doe entire season they could have been 2 or 3 seed.

They beat Mem DEN and Bos last year. They beat Sac this year.

Mil lost in 1st rd. Phil has Harden as FA.

This was literally a 0.500 team even fully healthy, they only created separation at the end of the season when they were facing a bunch of tanking teams. GP2 didn't even play much before the Warriors got him, at best they'd win a few more games and take the Suns place as the #4 seed.

We shall see my friend. Good stat though about the road. Good point.

I think it is more have to do with them coasting through RS and trying to turn it on during the playoffs. Lakers have a vastly different rotation post trade deadline...only AD and LBJ are the starters before and after the deadline, and even Rui the key rotation piece off the bench is also new.

Think about it, the only teams that were worse, were tanking lol. So essentially they are the worst non tanking team on the road. Also if the Warriors go down 3-1, you think they are going to feel so good about themselves? They don't have a 2016 Lebron/Irving duo. Lebron went full savage those 3 games. Not to mention the Lakers have already won a game on the road (this series), so it's not like they can't do that.

Really odd. The overreactions after all 3 games is annoying

It's been exhausting. Everyone counting out the Lakers after game 2 and I'm just rolling my eyes. Like wow, have you guys ever seen the playoffs before? They just took home court. Now the Warriors can take it back, Game 4 is the pivotal game of the series. Warriors need this one, but it's certainly (again) far from over.

Even Zach Lowe semi got swept into that rhetoric after G2. I thought the Lakers were lucky to split in SF considering how well the Warriors shot from 3 both games.

20 FTM disparity in game one. Mainly Lakers played good interior defense without fouling, while the Warriors did not. Same with tonight, huge disparity even though the Warriors only had one more PF. People crying about the disparity are homers or not watching the games, just looking at box scores. Not to mention the Lakers were the best team in NBA at getting to the line during the regular season, while Warriors were dead last this season.

The difference between first and last per game is 6 per not 20.

Refs were consistant through all the games
Lakers complained in game 2

Also does losing this series really "end the dynasty"? Warriors easily could add another star and be right back in contention next year. Steph Curry is still putting up 29/6/6 on 49/42 shooting. There will be free agents that will want to play with him. Wiggins will probably be better next year. Pool will be better next year. Klay is still solid. They just need to add a few pieces for depth and they'll be competing again next year.

You could just as easily say they are more likely to do so on the basis that they're home games are practically gimme's (if we're basing our assessment on RS win%). In that sense 'all they have to do is win 1 game as the underdog'. I wouldn't phrase it like that, but I wouldn't phrase it your way either. Saying the series is over at 2-1 is wack

This. This iteration of the Warriors is very 2012-2016 Spurs-ish, the main difference being that Curry is still a Top 5 guy while Duncan was still great but not elite. The institutional knowledge and continuity gives them a pretty high floor. Wiggins is a good piece that fits well. I don’t know about Poole, he’s so erratic but was great for stretches last season. He could bounce back next season, or you could move him for another big contract that needs a change of scenery like they did with DLo for Wiggins. With Curry, Draymond and Klay aging maybe you try to surround them with more size. Play a little bigger and find a stretch 5 and bring Looney off the bench.

If they lose this series I expect they trade one of Poole or Wiggins for some sort of cap relief and draft pick package.

Sorry I meant to reply to this. With that New CBA if they lose I think if they move Poole or less likely Wiggins it would be for picks and expirings. That new CBA made keeping this current team damn near impossible. One of Kuminga and Moody might be sent out too… they can’t afford to pay to not win with the current roster. They have a championship core, they just got to get low cost pieces around it.

Just a correction
Leicester won the Premier League, not the Champions league :)
Probably the best underdog story in sports history.
