Haha, so far from the truth. Funnily enough, I was actually a Djokovic fan for almost a decade, but his family and his absolute joke holistic views turned me off so much. Also, Serbian fans are absolutely the most terrible fans in the world. Actually, they are the best fans, and the worst fans, all in one. No one can root for players like them, and there aren't bigger homers on the planet than them either. Djokovic and Joker could literally do anything, and they would justify it (not that Joker is anything close to Nole in the absolute silliness that he represents).

Stop generalizing you are better than that. Saying that fans from certain countries are homers. It is pathetic. I met a lot of Serbian people who are ultra critical of Jokic and Novak.

Okay, fair enough. In my defense, they are definitely not the internet. I never, ever saw a Serbian fan online who was critical of either (other than the Jokic not playing on the national team a summer).

Vaccine hesitancy definitely led to a lot of deaths. We're not gonna get into this deeply, because you would say that vaccines did not save any lives, but you are obviously wrong, and yes, if more young people would have vaccinated, a lot less people would have died. The CDC doing and saying idiotic things - which they did - does not change this fact. People not understanding that immunization does not mean what they think they mean or should mean also does not change it.

I'm spanish and of course I've him as the GOAT ahead of Nadal or anyone else. I don't mind his personality either, better than the classic fake nice guy, and lot of the hate he gets, it's because of the media who always needs a villain.

One of the interesting "villain Djokovic" phase cases was the one where he hit the line judge lady in the throat with the tennis ball (in a non-live-ball moment). Embarrassing obviously, worthy of a big fine or something but the fact that he got defaulted from the tournament entirely is kind of ridiculous in hindsight. There's absolute 0 chance that Sinner, Alcaraz or even the current Djokovic would get disqualified like that. This was the time when he was winning most of everything and would have won that tournament too, I guess everyone just collectively reasoned that "he must have done it half-way on purpose anyway" and done with the guy, let's have some other winner
