Whenever he has a bad game, his fans seems like they're depressed. He's still so young. I mean, I don't get any of this. He's still playing at an all-NBA level.

I would consider all-NBA level to be a disappointment. Wemby was playing at an all NBA level since last season.
This season should be the beginning of an MVP campaign and he has cooled off a lot since his hot start.

People that don’t think he’s matched expectations yet need to get their eyes checked. The stuff he’s done on the court is surreal.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

MVP doesn't get decided in the first 10 games of any season. What if he puts together a dominant 40 game stretch in the middle of the season? Way too soon for this stuff.
Spurs are 6-2 with a bunch of guys out of the lineup and people are acting like the sky is falling.

Should be a close MVP race between Wemby and Luka (provided both are healthy) and will be decided which team has the better record... So Wemby gets this one since the Spurs are the better team than the Lakers.

It will be a very close race between Wemby and Luka to see who gets 4th in the MVP voting this year. It will come down to the wire for sure.

He had a rough first half tonight but he was absolutely dominant in the 2nd half and the reason the Spurs won that game against a very good Rockets team. He'll be alright

The guy has had 3 "down" games...
He is 21 and entering his 3rd season, after only playing 46 games last season. He's basically in his second season.

He’s still too easy to plan against. He lacks the tools, skills, and strength to impose his will on a nightly basis against coaches trying to shut him down.
Maybe in a few years but this season will be like the others. Maybe a hot start but it won’t last all season long and he will put up a good chunk of stinkers or below average performances.

He's the most hyped prospect of all time. The expectation is that he will be battling MJ, LeBron and Kareem for GOAT status. Does he look lik he's doing that?

Your man joking has no shot, needs to win at least another ring for voters to consider him for a 4th MVP. Can't be a regular season guy like harden and keep winning it without sustained postseason success.

I'm quite sure you are not willing to bet something significant, against at least one of them being upper than 4th in MVP voting this year

“Best player in the world” after 3 games. That’s why people need to shut up. You don’t judge a player after a handful of games. He’s done nothing in his career to be considered best player in the world.

It's season 3, Wemby really should start punishing opponents when they put the likes of Dalton Knecht / LaRavia on him:

Hope he doesn't relapse to previous season poor chucking habits

He’s looked much better this past couple games. Scary that he can sleepwalk to a 20 and 15 game like it’s nothing

I mean, apart from the Phoenix game, he's looked pretty good in general so far. Took a few too many 3s against the Pelicans, and he's had some turnover issues the past few games, but he's figuring it out.

What a freak of nature! 6/9 from downtown and a great stat line of 38 points, 12 rebounds, 5 blocks.
