The great thing about a playoff series is that you don't have to get it all back at once. When I think about whether Denver can win 4 out of 5, it seems daunting, but luckily they just need to win 1 game 4 times. It's cliche but if they win game 3, things get interesting. Let us not forget 2021 Mavericks/Clippers where the road team won the first 6 games of the series.

Perhaps I'm just being optimistic hoping for a long series.

Nuggets last season also played a depleted Wolves team, a Suns team that got thrown together at the deadline and a Lakers team that capitalised on a weaker West.

West is built different this season.

Through 2 games, Malone and the Nuggets haven't found ANYTHING that works against the Wolves. Not a single thing on either end.

It’s just really strange to see a team as good as Denver run into this. They have a difficult time just going on 4-0 runs because they can’t get ic seductive stops and score on consecutive trips.
