That’s not exactly the truth. Most desired option for every player in Europe is Euroleague club. It’s not coincidence that all the best Greece, Lithuanian, Italian, Turkish, Serbian...players are playing in Euroleague clubs. All. There’s not a single top European player, who plays in lower tier clubs, who play “just” in Acb, Italian, Greece, Turkish league...Euroleague clubs take all the elite players, having much bigger budgets.

Look at this incredible roster of Barcelona. No way just randon Acb club can have players like that and no way that anybody of these names would be prepared to play in random Acb club, who is not playing in Euroleague.

Does anybody care, how good development league in USA is? All the best players are playing in the EuroLeague. Similarly like in USA, all the best are playing in Nba.

Thank you, really. It is actually not that complicated to show a bit of respect for the actual (and really deserving imo) winners. The Spanish team did a hell of a proper job out there against all odds, which puts the cherry on the cake of a truly exceptional run. I would think any decent basketball fan would be praising the accomplishment, as the very same Argentinian coach did, but here we are still reading that 'Sergio Llull is not that good'. I mean, seriously? Have they actually seen the games? :crazy:

I´ve never enjoyed basketball as much since Beijing 2008 for the obvious reasons, but yet I am no short of praise for this Argentinian team giving me so much joy through the tournament, in exactly the same way I´ve praised (multiple times in this forums) any legend from the former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, etc), Russia and the former republics, Tony Parker, whoever...when they actually shone. What´s the problem with these people ? They can´t help but project their misery onto the few of us celebrating in (I´d like to think) a pretty humble way.

Wish we were talking about actual basketball and the totally unexpected demolition from Spain in this tournament (the tough game against Australia being the exception which confirms the rule), which has been at least remarkable!
