Its funny how Sam Young can get a technical for looking at Lebron without saying a word but when Wade elbows the crap out of someone on side of the head in the middle of the court everyone looks the other way. Funny how things work.

you can't seriously expect a referee to have to ref a game AND pay attention at the same time

Same thing that happened to Nazr Mohammed which was nothing until he got up trying to fight
Notes: Rookie Rudy Gay twisted his left ankle trying to guard McGrady late in the third quarter and limped to the bench. He returned with 5:51 left, then returned to the bench about a minute later - http://www.nba.com/games/20061231/MEMHOU/recap.html

It would be like me linking a thread to an Inside Hoops post stating, "There's a chance West will be fined for his elbow to Chalmers."

You're the one speculating. Not that you're alone. There seems to be a lot of that in this thread. Speculating Wade's intentions. Speculating poster's intentions. So on and so forth....

Yes, we're all speculating. That's part of the fun of being a fan. But I'm not going to post a "news" link that's tantamount to another poster's opinion. We just gotta be more responsible with sources. Cool?

Fair enough. I just thought the post/link was innocuous. But that's nothing more than my opinion.
That's hilarious and co

I highly doubt Wade get any suspension from this. Also we are comparing Wade to JR Smith, lol.

I'm going to say this tho, the Heats are probably the dirties and sneakiest team in the league. The past couple of season we've seen a lot of those "accidental Wade's elbow" to an opponent's head. Also LeBron won't do any of the dirty stuffs, he'll send his goon to do it for him. The guy is too smart for that.

I think its beyond funny at this point. More like sad how the league lets the Heat get away with garbage no other team can get away with.

Come on now, mate. You're better than that. There's nothing wrong with admitting that a player of your team made a dirty move. I did so with West's move.

The whistle blew after the play and he shoved James arm after the call - Non basketball play.

Wade's attempt was in transition when the Game was active...

But I don't disagree with the fact that Refs should have blew the whistle on that play.

There is no positive outcome of us responding to this with dirty shots. None. Zero. Nada.

We know that the league will don't do anything about Wade but that they are hit by someone it will result into a flagrant 2. The Pacers should continue to approach it the way they have been doing. Try to win basketball games. We aren't going to out-dirty the Heat. That's not our game.

of course you would - it's not even mentioned on national tv.

What does "not mentioned on national tv" have to do with anything? Its not like you can't watch the video and make a judgement. Stop with the red herrings.

Kyhpi, it doesn't reflect well on you to make such a stupid post. Giving a clear elbow to another player is about as dirty as it gets. It is beyond stupid that the tv didnt acknowledge it and even worse with people who can see it after the fact.

He should have gotten a flagrant 1 at the time but no suspension

My man, I've been nothing but reasonable, haven't I? "Dirty" implies intent, and I'm not sure there's enough to prove that, and I'm sure the league office will see it that way.

I can give you "reckless" or "unnecessary" which approaches the bounds of a flagrant perhaps. But I still see Lance sliding to his right trying to impede the progress of a man shot out of a cannon. Was Wade's swim move necessary? Nope. But I understand why Wade wanted to jump to avoid a collision of knees.

That sound fair?

I´m guessing most of you who want Wade suspended are also really displeased with the officiating generally. Since you don´t have a clue what´s going in a game from that standpoint that is. If it where such a blatantly dirty play, where´s the league in all this? The suspension would go live pretty quickly wouldn´t it but you haven´t heard a thing from the league.

flagrant means intentional or reckless. and i don't think it was either. should've been a foul, of course

While I do think is suspension worthy, I'm not gonna cry over a guy that threw his girlfriend down the stairs and then picked up her head and slammed it on the bottom step. It wasn't even an only he said-she said argument. There were several witnesses to it who called the police. The charges were mysteriously dropped eventually...wonder why...

Oh yeah he also has had problem in the past getting suspended from games because of fighting with teammates as well as sexually assaulting a girl. Sure people make mistakes and change, but I'm not gonna cry for a person like that, sorry.

Why should it have been a foul? Tell me what the defender has to do to draw a charge.
