I look forward to seeing you disappear when you get mauled

Well...since I'm not playing, I won't be getting "mauled."

I look forward to seeing you disappear after LeBron leaves this offseason and your team is never good again!

are people actually expecting TT to be a factor???? Horford struggles are more about LeBron than TT in my view

from a Celtics perspective TT killed us but we were a bottom 5 rebounding team last year. this year they added length, youth, athleticism, and more beef to their line up. just look how they were able to deal with a bigger Philly team where rebounding should have been more of an issue considering Philly was the #1 rebounding team but the C's fared more than well

maybe the Cavs deficiencies dont matter because Bron can mask them vs. us;

but i do not think the Cavs can guard on the perimeter
i don't think they present the issues that Milwaukee and Philly did on the Glass
and i dont see a rim protector

the Cavs willl have a pace setter in LeBron which neither the Bucks or Sixers showed any ability to dictate pace.

Lebron in 5. Could well be another sweep tbh, but will give Celtics a game out of respect for Brad Stevens genius.

Yeah if Lebron leaves they will blow it up so we will be in the lottery for some time such is the way of the league.

The raptors choke, and suddenly Lebron unbearable? He’s more lucky than anything. Last two times played Boston best player has been out.

Cleveland just doesn’t play a normal team game. They play a team Lebron game. It just hard for Brad Stevens to plan. Cause any diagram he can draw up should in theory work. And it will work....unless Lebron over rides everything.

Honestly. The Celtics are on a roll especially at home. While the philly series was a lot closer than the 4-1 outcome. Celtics showed they are a gritty team with emerging talented players.

I see Celtics in 5. But I also see the cavaliers in 4 or 6.

Series is a toss up.

It may be more that LBJ has won 23 straight east playoff series.

As for this 24th series, I feel like looking back we'll say the result was obvious all along, but looking forward, I really can't tell which way it will go. Playoff LeBron keeps finding new ways to annihilate opponents and the Cs keep finding ways to dig deep as a team and forge ahead.

In both the series, it's harder to be sure, and that's part of the fun. Looking forward to watching.

If Cleveland sweeps Boston this year should Stevens be fired?? Of course not. But Dwayne Casey was fired even though his record in the playoffs vs the Cavs is about the same or slightly better than Stevens....

Wait are you being serious

?

What were the expectations of the Raptors vs. the Celtics again? Were/are the Celtics at full strength and expected to contend for a title? No. Were the Raptors expected to contend, and were they the best iteration of the team compared to the last few years? Yes.

Talk about selective reasoning. I know it’s the GB and all, but do better.

I miss 76ers fans bravado. I think they actually were believing what they were saying.

Cavs fans kind of know this is the end, or nearly end of the run and of the Lebron teams since he’s been. Back, this is the worst one by far.

If Kevin Love has a good series then I can see the Cavs winning easily. if he struggles then the Celtics will win the series. I really think it will all depend on how Kevin Love's performs. I am hoping the Celtics spank Lebron and the Cavs though.

Same thing the Raptors said, see how this worked out...

To be fair though, Horford never had a player like Baynes next to him to do all the dirty work and body up/box out Tristan Thompson. You cannot ask from Al to be both the energy and the quality guy in the team. He can now focus on guarding Kevin Love... And anyways, this year's Boston team is night and day compared to last year's in terms of rebounding and overall defense.

Having said that, I do believe Horford vs Love is gonna be super crucial, I think whoever wins this match up wins the series...
