Dude. Anthony Davis is a 28/10 big man and a top 5-7 player in the league.
In the climate of a non-GS NBA, he and LeBron are the best duo in the league.
Add another All-Star caliber player in a Butler or Kemba, in free agency and it's not even close.

End of one behemoth and the birth of a new one. All within two weeks. Gotta love this league.
Honestly I do not get why everyone thinks the Lakers own the league. Lebron is another year older and AD is a great player. However, outside of that the Lakers don't have any anything. If Kuzma was Klay or Dray level then sure you may have something. However he is a role player.
You still have the Rockets, Blazers and Nuggets and Jazz in the conference. Hell, if the Raps keep Leonard then they are the best team still.

LookToShoot wrote:Melo is the only player that makes the Rockets watchable for the basketball purists. Otherwise it would just be three point shots and pick n roll.

Bron
AD
Steph
Giannis
Harden
He is as good as anyone of them (guess that would be consensus top 5)...assuming Bron has really lost a step.Best2EverDoIt wrote:What exactly makes him a top 3 player?sikma42 wrote:26 yr old top 3 player in the world for those bums. Take it every single time. Grab a third star and take the gamble

This sucks for pelicans. Worse offer than last year, knew they would lose leverage when Danny backed out and was all talk.
LeBron is going to be 36 for the 2020-21 season and AD hasn't played a full season since middle school. Throw in that Lakers management is in shambles and that pick is far from guaranteed to be trash.
To think that ainge probably would have pulled the trigger if kyrie just said hed resign if AD was there.

Will be interesting to see if the Lakers can get a couple FA guards, they'll definitely need it. Kyrie and another floor spacer would be perfect.

Not bad not bad at all.
Too many ball handlers. Culver and Ingram together is kind of redundant.
Don’t agree. Culver is a guard and has Middleton esque game to him. Doesn’t need to have the ball in his hands to create.
34 year old Kobe isnt 34 year old lebron. Dont disrespect lebron like thatgmoney411 wrote:RipPizzaGuy wrote:Who are we fooling. With GS out of their way, and a 2nd star in LA. Barring major injuries this teams going to the finals.gmoney411 wrote:

Who were we fooling when the Lakers with 34 year old Kobe traded for 27 year old top 5 player Dwight Howard who had just bullied his way out of Orlando. To think this is a lock to the finals is foolish. We have 34 year old LeBron getting 26 year old AD who has had WAY less success as a superstar than Howard had in Orlando.

Time will tell. Lakers won for now (assuming AD signs). The team who gets the best player usually wins. It comes down to this 4 pick, and there's no clear potential stars at 4 IMO
how do the Lakers always get these trades?
