Brazil starts the 2nd half on a 13-0 run. Good adjustement by Petrovic playing 3 guards and 2 forwards to match with Philippines' pace.

A brutal 6 pts 3rd quarter for Philippines, now down 12. Cone needs to put Kai in, not only Brazil is playing a smaller lineup to match up in speed but Caboclo and Dias are also dominating inside.

Is kai still injured? If this was a win or go home type of gane you would think he tries to suit up to see if he can take it.

Hard to say. He was announced good to go before the game but the coach probably feels he's not fit enough. They could really use him right now.

Brazil beats Philippines 71-60. Philippines led by 6 at the half but tactical adjustments from Brazil have turned the game around. Still, Philippines can go home holding their heads high, they showed a really good image of Philippines basketball.

Without the Wagner bros. In this friendly, GER really look small against FRA even when Gobert and Wemby are resting.

Wonder why Theis and Hart arent playing as well?

This is hard to watch so far for Slovenia, absolutely dire. Cancar is a leading candidate for worst player in the OQTs.

There's a stickied thread about the Olympics and the teams already qualified, this one is for the OQTs. Shroder was trying to stir **** up as he usually does. I dont understand how the refs can call it that way, they're probably trying to keep the game competitive but it was outrageous.

Congrats to Brazil for that furious 3rd Q rally, we were simply outmatched.

For this Greece-Slovenia game, we can only hope this becomes a 40 pt lead already, Luka is dying out there…

We think we did a good account of ourselves. i think we can now hang with the lower tier Euro, Americas, African teams but still a big distance in quality relative to the elite ones. This should give us confidence when play return to Asia, especially against the Chine, Japan, New Zealand level (Australia is on a tier of their own so they will be #1 on Asia for the next decades or so)

Why was Tobey replaced as a naturalized player for Slovenia? Old age?

Nebo is Euroleague star and you can see why he is there in this game, hes their best player. Tobey always was just a scrub.
