Jokic is 3rd in points, first in rebounds and FIRsT in assist… he needs to get his scoring up -

Could a dude lead the league in all 3 categories!?!

MJ, LBJ?

If Jokic was too pull that off we would have to consider him in the goat convo right ?

I have been told curry is missing too many games for consideration in mvp- but if we looking at what he did against other MVP contenders in Sga and Luka - he put those kids to bed without dinner. He has been great against the greats - which is an emotional statement win.. if that matters - he was by far the best player on the court in both those games and it wasn’t really close-

Curry is still Curry and he's def in the convo atm, thing is most everyone is expecting him to miss games at some point

yes, he played 74 games last season but that's the first time he played more than 65 games since like 2016-17 so...

I mean, if he wanted to lead the league in scoring - he could..
it's just not what he likes and what he's after

if he were padding vs. tanking teams and trying to bait for fouls like Joe L, coupled with taking a few extra mid-range and long range chucks a game, he'd lead the league in scoring but he doesn't so that's never gonna happen

he'll still finish top 10 probably this season as the Nuggets actually need his scoring

Watching how curry played vs okc and Mavs reminded me that he is still agile and can get his shot off at any time - and that when he is playing well he is currently better than Luka and SGA. No offense to those guys but when Steph got hot this year neither guy had an answer. It’s only 15% of the year but curry has stepped up and was the best player on the court when playing against two of the top 5 MVP candidates this year.

Of course curry couldn’t be expected to compete with the cavs because that’s apparently not fair… the Cavz on a seek and destroy mission

Right now it’s

1- jokic

2- AD

3- SGA

4- Mitchell

5- Tatum or Curry

After that who knows- Giannis and Luka still lurking

15% of the year has passed!

The only reason anyone bar Jokic is in the discussion is because it’s a long year and they need something to talk about

For example, ESPN has just done a whole segment on AD & his MVP numbers

AD keep being pushed for top 2 I think is bs. Yeah he’s been great, but media will push him more because he’s on the Lakers. I don’t see how he’s ahead of Tatum.

AD looked like the best player in the league for the first 6-7 games, but he has no MVP case unless the Lakers finish top 3. Does anyone expect that to happen?

Dude needs to learn how to play offense before we start worrying about that at all.

Great game. 50% shooting from 3 helps a lot, and isn't reliable, but it was still a fantastic game. I regret nothing I said, though.

Weird I never knew AD played for the Nuggets and was white.

AD was playing better than Jokic (thus everyone) early into the season, obviously that's not the case anymore. But of course the resident Jokic weirdo caught an alarm of someone playing well and got angry about it.

No he wasn’t. AD was playing great I will grant you that but he was not playing better than Jokic through the first 7 games. The only reason AD play was in the stoplight is he plays for the lakers. Do you know what Jokic’s first 7 games looked like?

P.S. “weirdo” you don’t need to personally insult someone to get your point across. Grow up bud.

The NBA's version of the triple crown

Which is crazy to think about but that's what Jokic needed to do just to get the Nuggets season back on track.

It's time to remove Giannis from the "other" category. 33.8 per 36 @ .633 TS.
