Minny for what is a sleepy kinda town has had some pretty interesting egos and talent, Prince, Dylan, Moss, KG, Ant many more, just interesting because it is not a place you think of exactly but it has some pretty good swagger

Because we are "fly over" country, most people don't bother to find out. We have a great music scene and some great basketball talent coming out of MN right now (Suggs & Holmgren in back to back years).

The music scene is stupidly influential. Obviously Dylan and Prince did so much but just Westerberg was a huge influence people don’t know. Realistically with out Bob Mould, Nirvana doesn’t have their sound.

Every time I watch a Warriors game the announcers talk about how Kuminga is supposed to be like this hidden talent that just hasn't gotten to play enough yet, and every time I see him he looks like ass. The only thing I can say is he can jump high, I really don't get the hype, at all.

Well this is your first problem. Those clowns are the worst homer/gaslighting crew in the game.

Are they? I dunno I think they do a good job of praising the opponent. Maybe they glaze the Warriors a bit too much. But yeah Kuminga looks like a guy that won't be in the league in a few years.

EDIT: To your edit its probably mostly the Warriors announcers that glaze him the most. National broadcasts describe him more fairly, super athletic but hasn't proven much else. Which yeah, I get its fun to imagine the guy that can dunk from the free throw line gets all the other stuff together, but I don't see it with Kuminga, there's nothing about his game that looks like it's got potential other than "jump high".

Its clear he hasnt been taught how to play NBA basketball. He's been taught how to fit into their specific system, which is fine.. but there is also a need for offense when Steph sits, is out etc and that has never been a priority for them with him. Case in point.. Jordan Poole is somewhat similar in style of play to Kuminga but WAS taught to play outside the system, and flourished with Steph was off the floor.

You have to train , you said they tried to divide Russian from Slavic by incorporating Cyrillic, so I learned both

He "looks" like a basketball player. But he never seems to make any sort of positive impact besides shooting a wide open 3, making a head down drive, or banging a crazy dunk. And those things are way too few and far between, most of the time he looks clueless out there.
