It's actually nice to see how much it means to the players and their families. Tears to the point of not being able to speak. It really impresses upon you what a huge transition this is for players and families.

The top 3 teams wouldn’t have given him a route to showcase himself. Dallas, Spurs and 76ers in their current form aren’t the best landing spot for somebody trying to make a name for themselves.

I don’t hate on it, he’s sacrificing rookie scale money for playing time.

But he 100% should have worked out for Charlotte.

There are different commentators on ESPN and ABC fyi. Problem is Perk is on one and SAS is on the other, so it's a tough choice.

In a few years?

I would trade him now. Why wait that long? Especially when doing it now would give more playing time/growth for Castle and Harper?

Wemby is ready now. He will have an experienced PG who knows how to score and pass lobs. We extend Fox, and by the time that contract is up, those of Castle and Harper will be up. And by that point they will have more experience themselves. Less pressure on a rookie while still being competitive. It's a solid transition.

Most teams dont have a glut of talent at the PG spot like the Spurs have now, so they cant see the big picture. Harper couldnt have gone to a better team for his career.

I respectfully disagree.

Kon looks like a pro with a strong work ethic and looks like a legit 2 way wing.

Hornets nailed their pick imo

Would have been so funny for the Sixers to draft Bailey and then ship out PG.
