Gilbert Arenas.

Except a little less scoring, and slightly better PG skills.

Umm, considering he won 46 games as a rookie PG while being the 2nd youngest player in the league, the above comment doesn't make a whole lot of sense and reeks of hate.

Regarding the Parker comparisons, Parker was a pretty inefficient scorer in his first season as well, in addition to having a lower assist rate than Jennings did last year, and IMO playing worse D. Parker is/was better at finishing at the rim, so we'll see what happens with Jennings there.

How does it reek of hate. Bogut was defientely the best player on the team. and salmons is arguably the second reason they made a good run...

Parker never carried the Spurs to a championship.

I think his best comparison is a young Stephon Marbury. I think at his best he'll be a prime Stephon Marbury (before he went crazy and fell off.)

To me Jennings was the hardest rookie last year to guage his full potential. He seems like he could be a good pg but I cant see him being a allstar consistenyl with rose and rondo in the east

How does it reek of hate? Let's not pretend that Jennings carried the Bucks to the playoffs..he was a very mediocre third option behind Bogut and Salmons. I can recall a number of games off the top of my head where Jennings would be 3/14 or 2/11 or something bad along those lines. But lets just forget about all that and say Jennings has superstar potential :-?

I said if Brandon Jennings is your teams best player, that particular team is in trouble. If that means I'm hating on him, I'm also hating on the majority of players in the league.

If you don't believe Jennings was a primary factor in the Bucks turnaround last year, you simply did not watch them play at all. I don't give a damn about the "games you recall" that help your argument.

The Bucks weren't even a .500 team before they acquired Salmons and made a playoff push. So no, Jennings wasn't a primary factor in the Bucks' turnaround. Bucks fans are also so quick to praise Bogut for being a top 3 center..hmm, isn't it more likely that he was the reason they made the playoffs?

I used the "games I recall" argument because I was trying not to be a dick by using Jennings' sub par TS% and shooting %'s to show why he's a mediocre third option. You and I both know how bad it is.

Why are you obsessed with me? If someone posted a Derrick Rose ceiling, you'd post there. I don't see what the issue is. I'm not like lilOJMayo who makes completely outlandish statements like OJ for MVP.

  No, definitely not obsessed, although I'll admit it could seem that way lately as I've been having a little too much fun with your ever-predictable appearances/opinions on Bucks-related topics. Do carry on though, as I've allowed my personal humour to get the best of me. Nothing personal though, all meant in good fun.

Jennings has a decent ceiling. Should have won ROY last season, but the voters put no stake into winning and making the playoffs, apparently. As long as Jennings improves his subpar shooting he should be in great shape.

I don't know man...20/5/5 is really special. If I were voting it would've been 1. Reke 2. Steph 3. Jennings. I've never been a believer in winning being a huge factor in the ROY race. To me it really should only matter for MVP voting.

Eh. Personal preference. I don't really think ROY is that important of an award anyway. I just put winning first and then stats second. Any one of those 3 for ROY was fine, although I was hoping Tyler Hansbrough was healthy and led a Pacer resurgence.

I'm confused. As a Bucks fan wouldn't it make sense for me to post on Bucks related topics?

It wouldn't make sense to post Ib4 JVaughn, Legendarry 33, Kush is my cologne or gi4c2om0 on any thread that involves the Bulls or Derrick Rose. Or Brandon Jennings now that I think about it

You could post Ib4 Anhiou6 on any thread with Dirk or Bill Russel.

I guess I'm just not seeing the point.

well to be fair with that assessment the year melo and bron were rookies, melo made it to the playoffs while bron didnt but still averaged 20/5/5 and won the award....

I know. It makes perfect sense for you to post on Bucks-related topics. I was jokingly taking pride in submitting a post on a thread that had been around for a bit before the surefire Bucksfans1and2 made his way in. Nothing serious about it, I was doing it for humor's sake only. Sheesh. No hard feelings dude.
