And I thought Raptor fans overrated him when he was with us. The reason his defensive stats look better when he's off the floor is because the other bigs on the Heat are less than adequate NBA players.

He's also done a good job on Dirk in their two games against the Mavs.

It was just a bad game. The whole Clipper team looked pretty out of it.

Griffin had 24/14/6 on 9/18 shooting vs MIA on January 12. Where was Bill Russell Jr in that game?

Those less than adequate bigs are contributing factors to the 3rd best defense in the league. just saying.

Unfortunately , I was up at 9 am to watch the game.Grifin was being smuthered , surrounded, overwhelmed by 2 or 3 Heat players every time he touched the ball.

I will definitely credit the Heat defense for choking the paint and forcing too many perimeter shots by LA .
Griffin managed to put up some decent numbers but as a whole , the Clippers played horrible.
You are either doing or not doing .

he's anchoring one of the leagues best defenses

i'd say he's easily the 2nd most important player on the team after LeBron (wade is still a fantastic player but he's easily replaceable)

I hate one game sample sizes so the OP's point was silly, but I'm surprised so many people think Bosh has been a poor defender this year.

If you think he's effeminate, well, no disagreement here. But he can play defense.

No, my comment was not green font. Bosh will never be on the level of Tim Duncan even if he does develop a perimeter game. for a couple of reasons: his defense will never be good enough or on the level of Duncans(cant be a Defense anchor, and no he is not the anchor for the Heat defense. His rebounding is decent but will never be on par with Duncans (Bosh had 12 rebound a game with the Raptors but keep in mind that he shared the floor with Andrea Bargani. Look at Reggie Evans' rebounding numbers with Andrea.) Finally, Bosh CANNOT be the number 1 option on a team that goes to the finals be a number 1 on a ship team. that is why Bosh, will never be on Duncans level no matter the development of his perimeter game.

The 0/5 thing was stupid, but Bosh's D has been very solid this year, some may say very good.

I don't see how you can argue that other than "he's soft blah blah, I heard these guys say he sucks at D and I saw him get dunked on by Rondo that one time LOL".
