LeBron James was god awful period.

He facilitated well... But man he was passive, and played terrible defense on terry in the 4th quarter.

Spoelstra should have switched Wade onto terry at that point when LeBron obviously couldn't guard him.

He was playing scared... Which was REALLY obvious

The thing is, if he shot 20+ shots... The Heat would have not been so close in the first place. But him, Wade, and Bosh were the reasons why they lost the game. All 3 of them were missing shots down the stretch.

if your a fan of the Heat. You could actually live with that

Tom Thibodeau wrote:"He's gotten to the point now where he can beat you a lot of different ways. It's not only scoring points. He can beat you with the pass. He can beat you with his defense. He can beat you with his rebounding.

"In Game 7, what gets lost on people, is the fact we were badly outrebounded and he didn't have a particularly good shooting night but he had a great rebounding night. That was probably the difference in the game."

Indeed, Bryant shot 6-for-24 but grabbed 15 rebounds as the Lakers prevailed 83-79 in the decisive game of the 2010 Finals.

"I try not to think about Game 7," Thibodeau said. "We've had a lot of good games here over the years. I'm more concerned with what we have to do on Tuesday night."

when you consider that Kobe at least was trying and the defense was geared to stop him, I would have to go with Lebron's is worse.

No defending him after that performance. Player of his caliber, just unacceptable.

That still doesnt explain why he had to take 24 shots and try to play hero ball. That is the difference between Lebron and Kobe. Atleast hes willing to defer.

He was facilitating. He doesn't need a Finals MVP. Winning will take care of his legacy.

Its not so much that Lebron is playing bad, but that he almost (almost) seems content with it. Thats what would alarm me if I was a Heat fan.

Shawn Marion and Deshawn Stevenson both outplayed him. I'd be shocked if he doesn't have a big Game 5.

It is if miss 8 out of 12 shots, miss half of all your free throws, and commit 4 fouls to go along with 4 turnovers.

Jordan hasn't, but Kobe came close in Game 3 against the Pistons in 2004 when he dropped 11 points on 13 shots. That was against an epic defense though, and the Pistons ran away with that game in the 2nd half.

LeBron is like the modern day Wilt -- always disappearing when it matters most.

So we are gonna ignore his 4/20 8/5/3 game against he Pacers

I'm not sure why I have to point this out, but Kobe was not in his prime in that series (and hadn't quite made the leap to superstar status), and he was playing on a severely sprained ankle on top of that.

In short, you have a functioning brain. Try using it so I don't have to answer stupid questions.

It does cure all....

But it would probably hold less place in history compared to Kobe's because it was only a game 4 in the finals where the Heat could of had a chance to go up 3-1. Compared to Kobe's game 7 in the finals performance against their biggest rivals in the Celtics, where he was a complete negative for the Lakers the whole game.

Lebron played hero ball in game 2 and it cost them the game. While Wade was on fire all night. Why didn't he defer then?

Oops. Guess your argument doesn't work anymore.
