I'd do #4 and 2013 1st rounder (unprotected)

Its actually a pretty crappy offer. If Cleveland was serious, they would have offered their #4, Tristan Thompson, and 2013 1st rounder.
They'd have a better chance if they drafted Val last year.
Agreed. But with the hype Val has gotten the last year, they wouldn't need to add a 2013 pick. Val and the #4 would more than fair. Although if I was Cleveland in that hypothetical situation, I would just hold on to Val and the #4. Unless they are hitting a home run getting Davis (no chance) they are going to take Barnes.

This isn't football, those picks outside of 4 have no value. I wouldn't even trade the #1 pick in most drafts for the 2nd and 3rd pick.
Thompson + all those picks and taking on Ariza or Okafor's contract would still not be enough in a 1 player draft.

Especially not a consensus #1 pick. I would get a kick out of seeing how many of these "GM's" here would eff teams up if a team gave them the GM job for about a year.

If Thomas Robinson or Andre Drummond impresses during individual workouts and NO calls the Bobcats I'm willing to trade Kemba and Bizmack for a lottery pick each, and offer #2,+2 lottery picks from them+#31. We all know how the Magic lucked up when trading the #1, it's just that Shaq wanted to be a Hollywood star what stop them from a title.

I don't think Davis will be as good as everyone expects him to be and I think with the new CBA lottery picks are even more valuable. The Cavs would will most likely still be a lottery team even with Davis.
Throw in the #24 pick and I'd say yes with no hesitation.

So which team are you looking for to benefit from this trade?
Also, if the Cavs will most likely still be a lottery team even with Davis, then they don't need him. Let the Hornets be a lottery team with him.

I agree #4/Tristian Thompson/2013 unprotected 1st would have gotten a lot of thought. The Cavs were being greedy any way because they probably had a deal set up for TT.

How is this funny when Chris Webber was the consensus #1 pick in 1993 but after Penny's workout the Magic wanted him instead. Or the fact that I said trading Biz and Kemba for lottery picks because I think each can net one. Or do you think it's to much for Davis?

So people always say you should go big over small, yet, while Irving had a pretty good rookie season, they think the Hornets would go Irving over Davis? I know Davis hasn't proven anything in the NBA yet but really? People are acting like Irving just had the best rookie season in the past 20 years or something.
So I guess if both players were in this draft Irving would go over Davis?

Word is going around that the Hornets #10 pick might be up for grabs guys, not the #1 pick.

I don't even know why you entertained that.
