I said at the beginning of the year that the Bobcats would get it and I'll stick with that. They started the season playing well and they didnt really go into tank mode, it seems teams that dont go into tank mode get rewarded.

If there was ever a year where Stern didnt bother rigging it, this is it

Weak draft, no superstar. He'll just let the cards fall where they may

No rigging as there are no franchise changing players in this draft.

Raptors or Magic will get no.1 pick

Whether it's a theoretically optimal year for a conspiracy or not, the point of this thread is to limit the number of people crying foul and saying how obvious such and such team was going to win, after the fact.

if neither orlando, sactown nor charlotte wins it'll only be because david stern read this thread

God help the Middle East
God help the climate

1) Orlando - make up for Dwight, take Noel

2) Pistons - Gores hasn't gotten his prize for buying the franchise yet, league knows it's the perfect landing spot for McLemore and chance to get the franchise rolling.

3) Charlotte- karma for playing hard at the end of the year & to help the Hornets brand return.

Phoenix & Cleveland are out for shameless tanking. Kings are out because Stern is mad about the Seattle deal failing.

I think Phoenix or Orlando might get it. no conspiracy, I just have a feeling one of them will win it and both will finish in the top 2.

I would think it more unlikely that a billion dollar corporation IS perfectly honest with "lotterys" in it's product. But that's just my opinion.

From a business standpoint, you don't let your product automate itself. That won't maximize profit.
