Amnestied.

Then Chicago re-signs Nate Rob as their sixth man and picks up a decent starting two guard.

Definitely no Noah going out. Tough thing is we'd still have Boozer and Taj on the team too if Deng went out. It'd be a complicated to get Deng and Boozer involved and still get a passable 2 or 3 back. Assuming PDX wants to rebuild we could look at the rumored Deng for 3 deal.

PDX: LMA for #3, Humphries, Brooks, Bobcats pick

Chicago: Boozer, Deng, Taj, Bobcats pick for LMA, Asik

Houston: Asik for Taj

Wash: #3 for Deng

Nets: Humphries, Brooks for Boozer

God, that still looks bad.

It doesn't have to be Chicago. The rumor is that he would prefer Chicago or Dallas, but with 2 years left on his contract Portland doesn't have to be in a hurry at this draft to move him. And where he ends up is out of his control.

This makes no sense to any of the teams except Chicago and Wash if the Deng for #3 rumor is true.

Although I think it's highly unlikely, I'd LOVE LMA on the Bulls. He's been one of my favorite PF's for quite some time now.

Houston would be if they thought they were getting Dwight and wanted to shed Asik. They could also throw Robinson in to lower their cap number to any number of teams involved who are taking back less.

Nets have been linked to Boozer a few times now and that deal does indeed make sense for them. It's the Washington/Portland parts that I just don't see. And Chicago ends up with holes at the wings, so I'm not even sure I like it.

Theoretical of course, Minny wouldnt do that for an expiring contract

Deng + Buter + 1st round this year + Bobcats pick for just LMA? No thanks.

Bulls are trying to land Thomas Robinson for the 20th pick and the TPE they got in the Korver trade last summer.

Bulls have Charlotte's future 1st which matures in 2016 if the Cats continue to struggle.

Bulls could move Deng for possibly a mid-lottery pick.

Bulls have the rights to Nikola Mirotic, one of the top Euro prospects.

The Bulls do have some decent assets, but what's important to remember is Portland's interest in moving Aldridge to begin with. The Bulls would have to offer a package of prospects and picks similar to that of the Jazz/Nets trade a couple of years back to entice the Blazers.

However, if Portland likes the nucleus of LMA/Lillard/Leonard and Batum and whatever they get at 10, then the Bulls are probably gonna have to give up more than their conservative front office would be willing to relinquish.

Yeah, this has as much of a chance of happening as Deng for the #3 pick.

LMA & West are both scoring PFs but there's some separation between the two, 21 ppg vs 17 ppg.
There's more scoring difference between Wade (21 ppg) and Derozan (18 ppg).

This trade makes no sense for either team. The Blazers recently resigned Batum. The Bulls recently resigned Taj Gibson.

Chicago and Portland aren't good trading partners. Not happening.

Can someone tell me what Portland did wrong in the past few years besides the injuries of Roy and Oden?

They got a great team with Lillard - Batum and LMA. Why can't they build around this? They have a sub par bench but come on, how can you give up one of the best PF's out there.

I take it you do know what "trading partners" refers to? The pieces both teams have versus what they are coveting. Pretty simple.

If Portland trades LMA it's because they're rebuilding. They have no interest in 33 year old washed up Gasol.
