Wow I hope he plays soon. Surely Cavs knew all this.

Bynum is a real piece of work.

He's creeping Royce White territory except he uses injury as his excuses.

except the part where Bynum actually shows up to work and doesn't take shots at his employer over twitter, or you know, everything that made people hate Royce White.

You invested nothing but your hopes and dreams. I read the threads on the Cavs board.

As much as anyone dreams of hitting it rich when they buy a $1 lottery ticket I suppose.

I know its not his responsibility or anything but youd think him playing alongside kobe for so many years, something would have rubbed off on this guy...like playing with heart through pain, or just even just playing through pain....playing with heart would be more than enough but at this point just getting him to play is not happening

hes not a basketball player...hes just milking his height for all its worth

I'm thinking Andrew is already at the end of the gravy train. He's got to get on the court sometime before January if he wants to continue the ride. Unless he's already blown all the money he's ever earned, a vet min offer isn't going to be worth the bother for him.

Being away from Kobe might just do him some good. Certainly Dwight, who was also struggling with injuries, didn't enjoy the pressure & stress. IMO, the ideal situation for a player like Bynum would be to reduce the pressure and expectations (done), try to make playing basketball fun for him (who knows), and encourage him to develop a professional (but not a mercenary) attitude (who knows).

If he wanted to talk to players who've gone through career threatening injuries and fought their way back to not only extend their career, but find a spot in the organization ... the Cavs have them available.

Seriously so much of these posts are so full of ****. He played through a torn meniscus but he doesnt play with heart.....

He has very little interest in basketball but molded himself from virtually no basketball skills to the best offensive center, I guess he wanted to shoot threes cause he hated basketball.

Do people actually believe this ****?

Bynum was nothing more than a cap move by the Cavs. If he plays and returns to glory, a decision will have to be made. Till that happens, the Bynum signing was nothing more than a cap hold for free agency next year.

Yeah I was wondering what he was talking about. Bynum played through pain and injuries often with the Lakers, including the Finals against Boston.
