-his handling of the minutes: KG is old, but he's not crippled. The 5 starters barely have any playing time together, because Kidd keeps yanking out KG after like 4 minutes. KG is a rhythm player that's not able to find his rhythm, which results in poor production from him, and a lack of chemistry. Similarly, Kidd seems to have taken that same approach with other players and is totally coddling Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce right now. Sometimes, you do have to let the players play. I think 30 mpg is good for Pierce, while 27 mpg is good for Garnett. But that 27 mpg has to be consistent playing time, not random, sporadic playing time, where he's in for a couple minutes, taken out, and then put back in for another couple minutes.

-accountability: Blatche is playing like he's back on the Wizards, and instead of being benched, he's getting more playing time, and he's actually being encouraged to continue what he's doing. Kidd needs to tighten the leash on Blatche big time, and part of that includes keeping him on the bench and playing KG more.

I blame the players the most though, because they're just not executing offensively more often than not, which isn't really Kidd's fault. Missed FTs, bad TOs, sloppy possessions...that's on the players, not Kidd.

Lawrence Frank was the worst coach in the NBA last season. I'm not entirely sure all of his terribleness was due to his inability, it might also be he had a crappy work ethic and did not mind getting paid millions if fired (his attitude at the end of the season with the owner and other things suggested this, he basically asked to be fired). The sad thing is when he was hired people said he had shortcomings in knowledge and ability but made up for it with passion, but it turned out he didn't have that either.

He was freaking BAD. If Lawrence Frank is what your inexperienced coach is supposed to use for guidance you're in for some hilarious trouble. Under his control players had career worsts, draft picks didn't show progress, he did not play to win or to develop talent, players said he didn't communicate, he had no offensive plays, and throughout his tenure the team could not execute inbounding the ball, and he would play players to their weaknesses and use rotations with players that hurt each other.

It was no coincidence that in both of his coaching positions he set records in losing streaks. If Piston fans were as dedicated to self-deprecating humor in sigs with our coaches as Raptor fans everyone would have a more clear idea about what caliber of coach Frank has been. The Raptors were lucky to have hired Casey rather than Lawrence Frank, who were both coaching candidates at the same time.

Still can't believe that he's the coach. The most (Please Use More Appropriate Word) signing ever. And no Kidd had nothing to do with the players coming here. They came to this team because they thought we can make a run at the trophy not because Kidd is our head coach

bookmarking this thread. all new coaches, tons of new players, best player on minute restriction, 4 losses, 3 of which were extremely close. yeah, the talent on this team doesn't go away after 6 games. they will win the atlantic, and be right there with miami, indiana, and chicago by season's end.

1. You are totally wrong

2. What does this have to do with the topic?
