Re: New Basketball Play: Wall of Hands
The Shaq/Earl Boykins offense along with the Wall of Hands defense would be the greatest system ever designed. Much greater than anything Popovich could come up with.

I was searching for that, thank you!
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Re: New Basketball Play: Wall of Hands
I think the circle-around-a-player strategy can be nullified by setting all the defensive players in a wall just in front of the circle, therefore the circle of players would perform moving picks if they hit the wall of defenders.
But the Shaq/Boykins strategy actually seems pretty legit (not counting the logistics).

Damn science, we need cloning technology now not later!
This play will become reality someday, in the future, maybe.

Sure. Which is why it's rare to see the inbounds pass even double teamed. At the NBA level... everyone has SOME experience...and the team dummy will not be that pass in guy.
CENSORED... No comment.

Don't worry, that would only be an issue if the inbounder was Rafer Alston.

All 5 defensive players surround the inbounder, and he is helpless! He will never inbound it now! Violation city, only one team need ever possess the ball!

These kind of threads are like hit and runs, the OPs leave and message, and never return to the scene of the crime lol

Re: New Basketball Play: Wall of Hands
Time to throw my stupid idea into the ring:
Some players use hair gel, right? What if a player grew really long hair and used a **** load of hair gel to make it stand up and act as a device to help block shots?

Then you bring out ADVANCED Wall of Hands.
Just like Wall of Hands, but two of the players stand on the shoulders of the other three, making lobs impossible.
Brilliant.
