While I don't think I'm crying, either, all I saw from Andre was some dismay that he got zero burn in the game, which is understandable. Cousins is out and he still can't see the floor means he's getting cut, likely along with some other guys that didn't play (Hayward and Derozan, I think).
I'm looking at this from both a Pistons perspective and a Team USA perspective -- unless they think Drummond has no future with USA Basketball, he should make the team over a guy like Plumlee, even if he isn't going to play in this tournament. Otherwise, you're just creating hard feelings for no good reason. Why invite him to camp if you're going to pull a Duke alum off the Select Team and give him the roster spot? It makes no sense.

Good lord, it was one game. You invite guys to camp to see how they look, how they fit, what 12 guys you think gives you the best chance to win. Given that we're 62-1 during his tenure, and have revamped USA Basketball from a glorified All-Star team into a legitimate program, I trust K knows what he's doing.
Guys can worry about PT and shots on their own time. When you're on this team, you stow that isht at the door because we've got bigger things to worry about.
