Based on assist per game, the teams that represent the most ball movement:

Celtics - 25.8
Warriors - 25.7
Wizards - 24.6
Hawks - 24.3
Blazers - 23.9
Mavericks - 23.9
Spurs - 23.5
Clippers - 22.0
Bulls - 22,0
Cavaliers - 21.9

That's a little deceiving though. Most of those teams have one guy who's averaging a bunch of assists. Assists per game aren't always a great indication of ball movement.

I kind of agree with Bogut here. Most teams really are just iso.

Sorry, but Derozan loves his iso ball as does Lou Will. None of the Raps bigs are good passers at all. Lowry can make plays but he more times than not keeps it off of the PnR for himself. I realize that the Raps may be getting contributions from multiple players, but I wouldn't classify them as one of the most team oriented teams in the league.

Is the triangle considered team basketball?

Well, I've watched a lot of games this season and before I even looked those stats up, I figured these teams vying to make this list. All these teams move the ball incredibly well.

Even the Wizards and Celtics, who despite having a ball dominant PGs, are incredibly unselfish. The ball never sticks. Constant ball movement.

Raptors play some screen/rolls, but overall not a ton of teamwork on Offense..

On Defense, for sure, but on Offense they have a health dose of Iso's.

whats so douchey about bogut???

He came into the league bad mouthing American athletes and acting holier than thou. He acts like he's above the bs and better than everyone, yet he's actually a borderline dirty player. He has been in more altercations than average because he uses little dirty tricks when boxing out and setting screens. Watch how he plays, I'm surprised more players haven't tried to deck him out.

I honestly believe his constant injuries are karma. He's the ultimate doucebag in that he obviously has many people convinced he's a good cat.

I might be biased, and this is just my personal opinion. I just hate the dude.

He tells it as it is.

He's a player who is loved by teammates and fans. Just look at what he did in Milwaukee. Buying tickets for the loudest fans to get people more excited about going to games.

It sounds like Bogut slept with your girl or something.

I guess it's team ball- just not very complicated team ball. Defense wise, without a doubt- Casey actually has produced a solid little system considering our defense at the 2/3/5 positions is suspect.

I know this is basically the epitome of delusional Knick fan syndrome, but for all that's gone wrong this season, players have at least bought into the system :dontknow:

For God sake's, we've practically had to remind guys to go for their own shots too sometimes. The reason we suck is because

(A) the players running the system suck and
(B) they don't know the system beyond the basics yet.

Atlanta belongs in there.

Raptors are weird imo, because if you judge them based solely on assists, the ranked 3rd last in the league in assists. But, when you watch them play, it seems like they play team basketball in so far as, the entire team knows their roles, and they distribute the scoring to whoever is cooking that night. Nobody has a problem taking a back seat. I mean, Raptors had 7 players in double figures last night with 2 guys in the 20's. 1 game it's Lou leading the way, another game Demar, or Lowry, or Valanciunas, or Ross, or Grievis.

In the vast majority of games the Raps have had 5-7 players in double digits.

So, I guess you kind of need to define "team basketball".
