Am I the only one who doesn't hate anyone? I love the NBA and it's a blessing to watch NBA basketball on National TV and listening to commentators commentate greatness.

What about "During the half a fan from the crowd will take a half court shot that if they make they can bang a playboy bunny"?

Anything from Clipper's Ralph Lawler. Bingo; oh me oh my. Annoying. Would watch the other team's telecast whenever possible.

"Oh me oh my" after a Blake dunk, and "Bingo" after a 3. Can we expand our reactionary phrases please? Breen, i'm looking at you as well.

The Clippers announcers are unbearable

Any use of the word "narrative" be it commentating, sports articles, or message board postings.

Most overused word of 2015.

From coach:
"We didn't play aggressive tonight."
"We need to be more aggressive."
"Guys, take care of the ball."
"Guys, get the rebounds. They are getting too many rebounds."

From player:
"I just need to work harder, and get better every day."

"Stretch the floor"

Everyone is obsessed with it. You look at a guard--nobody asks whether he has court vision or a handle, nobody notices if he can penetrate or play serious ball pressure defense, they want to bench him if he can't "stretch the floor". Big man? He rebounds, defends the rim, sets a hard pick, but unless he can stretch the floor he must be useless.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Also sidenote anyone notice that Breen will frequently interrupt his own commentary with a

WAH-HOE, or WUH-OWE a lot

"puts it up, puts it in." Mike Breen says this maybe 30 times a game.

"Killer instinct" - it's actually kind of a backhanded compliment, as it often describes a player who's selfish and likes to force the issue instead of making the right basketball play.

Mchale always seemed to make that excuse when the rockets lost that it was because they weren't aggressive enough (and no team is going 82-0 obviously). I don't get that, sometimes you're simply outplayed.

"Welcome to the new NBA, it's position-less basketball."

"Positions were really invented to help novices understand basketball"

Jalen Rose repeated the same thing all year, during the playoffs and also during the draft no matter what the topic was.

Hearing players yell "Let's Go!" when their team is down and they manage to score a bucket. For some reason it especially annoys me when Bosh does this.
