USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Left the NBA or some years. And then came back
How many guys are out of the NBA and make their way back to being a role player?

BTW, Barkley was never an "NBA" 6' 6'".
In shoes he was 6' 8", and NBA players often cheat their height up 1". So Barkley could probably see eye to eye with NBA players who were listed at 6' 8" or 6' 9".
He just came from an old school breed of players that didn't feel the need to play games with their height measurements.
Barkley was basically eye to eye with 6' 9" Magic.

Damn is he really? He doesn't look 245, must be a good lean 245 lbs.

Lol, what? That doesn't make them "underweight", a 5'8-6' person at 240+ lbs is obese...
Did either of you read what I wrote? I said 240+ would look a lot more significant on someone with a more average frame, aka the average Joe that's 5'8 - 6'. Obviously someone that's 5'8, 240 is going to look a lot more bigger and wider than someone that's 6'5 and the same weight. If you're 6'4 - 6'8ish and you're hovering low 200s, you're underweight. Step into any DIII football program and every single coach would agree.Tave wrote:M4P wrote:People don't seem to realize that a lot of players are relatively underweight for their height. 240 - 280lbs when you're 6'6+ doesn't seem as huge as you would think when compared to someone who's 5'8 - 6' and 240+.
Relative to what? Nine-point-nine out of ten people who weigh 240+ at 5'8" are firmly obese or grossly obese. Even for someone 6'5"+, 240 is a decent amount of weight to carry and 280 will be overweight unless you're freakishly ripped or approaching seven feet.
